The manufacturing method of the present invention, which leads to the above configuration, is characterized in that the upper surface of the dial substrate on which a concave or convex pattern is formed by a mirror surface or Asahi light, stamping or the like is subjected to a surface treatment by plating or painting, or is further transparent. Alternatively, a translucent organic film is formed by painting, and if necessary, a flat and smooth surface is formed by lapping, and then partially printed or stamped on the upper surface of the surface treatment or the upper surface of the transparent or translucent organic film. After three-dimensionally forming an acrylic-based two-part reactive pressure-sensitive adhesive and further drying the pressure-sensitive adhesive to a degree that the pressure-sensitive adhesive is semi-cured, the metal plate film including a metal foil having a vapor deposition film and a transparent film is used as the dial substrate. A metal foil having a vapor-deposited film of the metal foil film is placed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive by pressing the portion on which the three-dimensionally formed pressure-sensitive adhesive is placed along the contour thereof. This is a method for manufacturing a timepiece dial in which a metal foil having a vapor-deposited film is fixed only to the three-dimensional adhesive portion by peeling off the metal foil film after fixing.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a timepiece dial according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a dial substrate on which irregularities and the like are formed by a mirror surface, asahikari, stamping, etc., and the upper surface thereof is subjected to a surface treatment 2 by plating or painting. A flat, smooth, transparent or translucent organic coating 3 is formed on the upper surface of the surface treatment 2. A desired portion serving as a pattern portion 6 such as an index, a mark, or a character is formed on the organic coating 3. In addition, an acrylic two-part reactive type adhesive 4 having a round cross section is formed, and a metal foil 5 having a vapor-deposited film 5a is fixed so as to cover the outline of the adhesive 4.

[0008] With the above configuration, the pattern portion 6 for three-dimensional indices, marks, characters, and the like has a configuration in which the metal foil 5 having the vapor-deposited film 5 a is fixed so as to cover the outline of the adhesive 4. Therefore, it can be manufactured very inexpensively, and the quality of the pattern portion 6 conforms to the contour of the adhesive 4 because the metal foil 5 is very thin, and its appearance has a uniform metallic luster as if plated. It is.

Next, a method of manufacturing the timepiece dial will be described with reference to FIGS. First, as shown in FIG. 2, a surface treatment 2 is applied to the upper surface of the dial substrate 1 on which a concave / convex pattern is formed by a mirror surface or a shining light, stamping or the like by plating or painting. Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a transparent or translucent organic film 3 is formed on the upper surface of the surface treatment 2 by painting, and the upper surface of the organic film 3 is polished by lapping to obtain a flat and smooth surface. The reason why the organic coating 3 is made flat and smooth is to make the uneven pattern formed on the dial substrate 1 have a deep three-dimensional effect and to be clearly visible. The coating 3 has good fluidity, is thin and uniform,
If it is formed smoothly and does not affect appearance quality such as accumulation and distortion, polishing by lapping may be omitted.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, an acrylic two-part reactive type adhesive 4 is three-dimensionally formed by printing or stamping at a desired position to be a pattern portion 6 such as an index, a mark or a character. Then, in the state of FIG. 4, the acrylic adhesive is temporarily dried at a temperature of 40 to 60 ° C.
To a semi-cured state. Next, as shown in FIG. 5, a metal foil film 8 composed of a metal foil 5 having a vapor deposition film 5a as shown in FIG. 7 and a transparent film 7 is placed on the upper surface, and covers the contour of the three-dimensionally formed adhesive 4. As described above, the metal foil 5 having the vapor-deposited film 5a is fixed to the three-dimensional adhesive 4 by pressing with an elastic cloth, sponge or the like. Since the metal foil 5 is very thin, 5 to 20 μm, it conforms very well to the three-dimensional outline of the adhesive 4. Further, the vapor deposition film 5a can be made of various materials such as Au, Cr, Al, and color, and various combinations can be made in combination with the surface treatment 2.

In the above process, the reason why the acrylic two-component adhesive was selected as the adhesive 4 is that the cross-linking reaction proceeds and the adhesive is cured, so that a three-dimensional shape can be maintained. When the metal foil 5 is fixed by pressing the pressure-sensitive adhesive 4 so as to cover the outline after the pressure-sensitive adhesive 4 is temporarily cured by temporary drying, the three-dimensional pressure-sensitive adhesive 4 is fixed uniformly without being deformed.

However, since other types of pressure-sensitive adhesives, for example, rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives and acrylic one-component pressure-sensitive adhesives are not cured and are soft, they are formed three-dimensionally and then covered with a contour for fixing the metal foil 5. When pressed, the three-dimensionally formed adhesive is deformed. Since the metal foil 5 is very thin, the deformation causes cracks and makes it impossible to fix the metal foil 5 uniformly to the contour.

Finally, as shown in FIG. 6, the metal foil 5 having the vapor-deposited film 5a is fixed only to the three-dimensional adhesive 4 by peeling off the metal foil film 8, and as shown in FIG. The clock dial is completed. When the metal foil film 8 is peeled off, the metal foil 5 having the vapor-deposited film 5a is very thin, so that the metal foil 5 is cut cleanly along the shape and contour of the three-dimensional adhesive 4, so that, for example, the vapor-deposited film 5a is Au. In the case of a vapor-deposited film, it looks as if it has a metallic luster as if it had been subjected to three-dimensional Au plating.

FIG. 8 is a sectional view of a timepiece dial according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, an acrylic two-pack reaction type adhesive is applied to the upper surface of a surface treatment 2 such as plating or painting. The agent 4 is three-dimensionally formed, and the metal foil 5 having the vapor-deposited film 5a is fixed along the contour of the three-dimensional adhesive 4. Further, a flat and smooth transparent or translucent organic film 9 is formed on the upper surface.

As described above in detail, according to the method for manufacturing a timepiece dial according to the present invention, a three-dimensional index, mark, or pattern portion is partially formed by printing or stamping with acrylic. After three-dimensionally forming a two-part reaction type pressure-sensitive adhesive and temporarily drying the pressure-sensitive adhesive to a degree that the pressure-sensitive adhesive is semi-cured, a metal foil film including a metal foil having a vapor-deposited film and a transparent film is placed thereon, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied. By pressing along the shape and contour of the agent, it is a method of fixing only the metal foil having a vapor deposition film to the adhesive, there is no need for masking and vapor deposition and long-time swelling plating as in the past,
A three-dimensional pattern portion can be obtained very easily.

Further, since the metal foil having the vapor-deposited film is very thin, it is easy to conform to the shape and contour of the three-dimensional adhesive, and even when the metal foil film is peeled off, the shape and contour of the three-dimensional adhesive are removed. Since only the metal foil having the vapor deposition film is cut off along the edge, the metal foil looks as if it had been raised and plated and has a uniform metallic luster.

The formation of the vapor-deposited film on the metal foil can be easily performed because the film is formed not entirely but partially.
Since u, Cr, Al, and color colors can also be deposited, a desired color tone can be formed at low cost on a three-dimensional pattern portion, and the color tone of each pattern portion is not the same color tone but the pattern portion is not the same color tone. The color tone can be easily changed every time at low cost.
