2. Description of the Related Art Pattern formation on metal or resin is performed by various methods such as plating, painting, and printing. On the other hand, a pattern forming method that requires mechanical processing such as inlaying and engraving tends to be more expensive than the above-described method.
Generally, inlays are made by mechanically engraving the material and pouring the resin into the dented parts, or by embedding a metal plate to form a pattern. However, the processing cost is high, and the poured resin or metal is used. There were problems that the plate was removed due to poor adhesion and that a fine pattern could not be formed. In addition, engraving and engraving require a mold and an engraving machine, so that initial costs are high, and there are problems that patterns are restricted.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has been made by forming a masking pattern on a metal or resin base material, and then forming a non-masking portion on
A pattern (inlaid) in which a hard pattern is embedded by forming a pattern harder than the base material and pressing.
Alternatively, it has been found that by removing the hard pattern formed on the non-masking forming portion after fressing, a pattern similar to engraving and engraving can be obtained, and the present invention has been completed. A masking pattern is formed on a base material made of a metal or ceramic, and then a metal or ceramic pattern is formed on a non-masking pattern portion. A first aspect of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a decorative body in which press processing is performed to bury the masking pattern in a base material, and thereafter, the masking pattern is removed.
After that, a metal or ceramic pattern harder than the base material is formed in the non-masking pattern portion, and then the metal or ceramic pattern is pressed and buried in the base material. A second aspect of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a decorative body in which the buried metal or ceramic pattern is removed, and then the masking pattern is removed.

The hard pattern 2 is made of a metal such as nickel, nickel alloy, chromium or the like, or chromium nitride, titanium nitride,
Ceramics such as titanium oxide and alumina may be used, and single or two or more metals and ceramics may be used. The hard pattern is formed by a known method such as plating, physical vapor deposition, and thermal spraying. Further, a colored layer such as colored plating or painting may be formed on the hard pattern to add a decorative effect. Further, although the hard pattern 2 is shown in FIG. 1 with its surface protruding from the surface of the substrate 1, it may be flush or slightly concave.

FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the processing steps of the present invention.
First, a masking pattern layer 4 is formed on a substrate 1 by using a commercially available paint, printing ink, resin such as a photocurable resin (1 in FIG. 3). Next, a metal or ceramic pattern harder than the base material 1 is formed on the non-masking pattern portion (2 in FIG. 3). The plating method may be any of various plating methods, sputtering methods, and the like. next,
Press work using a press machine 5 such as a hand press, and a metal or ceramic pattern (hard pattern 2)
Is buried in the substrate 1. Then, a commercially available release agent,
The masking pattern layer is peeled off using various solvents (3 in FIG. 3).

Further, in order to obtain the decorative body shown in FIG. 2, the metal or ceramics pattern buried in the base material is removed by using an appropriate means such as a release agent, and a pattern by the recess 3 is formed. Good. In the case of this example, the masking pattern layer may be peeled off after removing the metal or ceramic pattern buried in the base material by pressing. Incidentally, a protective film layer may be formed on the inlaid, engraved or engraved pattern by a known method such as painting or printing in order to prevent discoloration, corrosion or scratches.

Example 1 An ABS shaft formed into a cylindrical shape by injection molding was subjected to a plating pretreatment such as etching and sensitization by a known method, and was subjected to an electroless copper plating solution (OPC Kappa, manufactured by Okuno Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) ) Was used to perform copper plating with a target of 1 μm. Next, pattern printing of the mask was performed by a screen printing method using black ink (protocoat 360C) manufactured by Yoshikawa Kako Co., Ltd. After drying at 70 ° C. for 20 minutes, a known plating pretreatment is performed, and electroplating nickel is used in a Watt bath to target a thickness of 10 μm, and gold plating is targeted in a high cyanide bath to a thickness of 0.5 μm. Was done. After washing with water and drying,
A mandrel was placed on a cylindrical ABS shaft on which the above-mentioned laminated plating pattern was formed and rolled at a pressure of 50 kg and pressed. Thereafter, the mask pattern was peeled off with trichloroethylene. The member from which the mask pattern was peeled was immersed in a mixed solution of potassium persulfate and sodium hydroxide, and the copper plating portion was colored black. It was washed with water and dried to obtain a decorative body in which a gold pattern was embedded in black.

Example 2 A mask pattern was printed on a brass shaft formed into a cylindrical shape by a press and buffed with black ink (1000) manufactured by Seiko Davance Co., Ltd. by a screen printing method. 13
After drying at 0 ° C. for 20 minutes, a plating pretreatment was performed by a known method, and nickel plating was performed in a Watt bath with a target of a thickness of 10 μm to form a nickel pattern.
After washing with water and drying, put the mandrel on the brass shaft that has been patterned
Rolling was performed at a pressure of 0 Kg and pressing was performed to obtain an inlaid pattern in which a silver-white pattern was embedded. Next, the pressed brass shaft was immersed in a liquid prepared with a nickel plating release agent (Lip Master) manufactured by Kizai Co., Ltd. to peel off the nickel plating layer, washed with water, and dried. Thereafter, the printed mask pattern was peeled off using a coating release agent (R4Z-K) manufactured by GREATLE CHEMICAL CO., LTD.
