When the vibration damping material is applied to the vehicle floor back surface, the viscoelastic layer surface is integrated with the vehicle floor back steel plate. The characteristics of the vibration damping material should be changed depending on which part of the automobile manufacturing line this integration process is performed. That is, a method of applying an adhesive in advance to the steel plate contact surface of the vibration damping material or the back surface of the vehicle floor, giving magnetic damping properties to the vibration damping material, and physically integrating them with screws, clips, etc. are also adopted. Although it is possible, it is essential to install a lower mold with a damping material placed below the vehicle in the painting process or the vehicle outfitting process, lower the vehicle, and apply the damping material to the back of the vehicle floor.
In addition, it is particularly recommended to use a baking method in the painting process to heat and fuse or to form the vibration damping material into a vehicle floor back surface shape in advance. It is also preferable to combine these methods more firmly.
