[0003] In addition, asphalt-based vibration damping coating agent or plastisol of vinyl chloride is applied as a guard coat to the underside of a vehicle in order to prevent the generation of scratches on the underside due to flying stones and the resulting rust. Was. However, if chipping resistance is not imparted to the underside of the vehicle floor in this way, various holes on the underside of the vehicle are masked, and after applying sealer coating, guard coating, etc., the masking is complicated. It depends on the process.

The damping material used in the present invention may be either a single-layer damping material or a multi-layer damping material. As a single-layer damping material, one or more binder components such as asphalt, rubber, resin and the like, fillers, additives, pigments, etc. are mixed and kneaded,
It may be rolled into a sheet. Further, the multi-layer vibration damping material is composed of a viscoelastic layer and a constraining layer, for example, a viscoelastic layer containing a thermoplastic resin as a main component or a resin or metal foil containing a thermosetting resin as a main component. Use a restraint layer, etc. When applied to the underside of a vehicle, the surface of the viscoelastic layer is integrated with the underside steel sheet of the vehicle. The characteristics of the damping material should be changed depending on which part of the automobile manufacturing line the integration process is. That is, a method of applying an adhesive agent to the steel plate contact surface of the vibration damping material in advance, a method of imparting magnetic adhesion to the vibration damping material, and a method of physically integrating them with screws, clips, etc. can also be adopted. A method of heating and fusing by utilizing baking in the process is simple. Further, it is also preferable to combine these methods so that they are more firmly integrated.
