【解決手段】柔軟性を有する素材による長方形状の主体１を設け、主体に固定されるとともに主体サイズより長尺で巾狭の引張ベルト２を設け、主体と引張ベルト間に補助ベルト３を、主体隅近傍と引張ベルト間に複数個斜方に設けたことを特徴とする。主体を被介護者の肩にあてがって介護者が引張ベルトを引張することにより、被介護者の上半身を楽に起き上がらせることができる。

２．介護者の肩につかまってもらい、前屈みになって立ち上がってもらう。
３．介護者は大きく足を開き、本人の前屈みに合わせて腰を低くしながら介助し、両腕を
本人の背中に回す。
４．本人がバランスを崩さないように支えながら、ゆっくり方向転換する。
５．本人に車いすのアームレストをつかんでもらい、立つときと同じく十分に前屈みにな
りながら車いすに座らせる。介護者は大きく足を開き、膝を曲げて介助する。
６．足をフットレストに置いてもらい、腰を後ろにずらして深く座ってもらう。

従来法は本人の上半身を起こすには、介護者は前屈みになって本人の背とベッドとの間に手と腕を差し入れて起こすこととなり、腰に負担をかけながらの作業をしなければならない。これに対し本案は、既述のごとく引張ベルトを引くだけでよいので、従来法ほど前屈みにならなくてすむために、腰部への負担が軽減され、かつ力が入れやすいのである。
また、補助ベルト端が主体の上部と下部端に各々縫着されており、引張ベルトによる主体への力伝達以外に、主体の上部と下部への力伝達もでき、本人に対する安定した力伝達を行うことができる。なお、主体は布体を二つ折りしての縫合形成であり、補助ベルト端の主体への縫着はこの二つ折りの間に入れ込んでのものとなる。
