2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a pipe cover of this type, as shown in a transverse sectional view of FIG.
Engaging portions 20a and 21a are provided on both side edges of the flexible divided members 20 and 21, respectively. The engaging portions 20a of one of the divided members 20 are formed in a concave shape with an opening facing radially outward. The two engaging portions 21a of the other split member 21 are formed in a convex shape such that their tips are directed radially inward and can be fitted into the concave engaging portions 20a, and are formed in a direction indicated by an arrow C in the drawing. In order to smoothly engage the two split members 20 and 21 and to prevent the two split members 20 and 21 in the engaged state from easily coming off in the direction opposite to the arrow C, the two engaging portions 20a and 21a are illustrated. As shown in FIG. 7, there is a device provided to be inclined with respect to the engagement direction. Both divided members 20, 21 in this pipe cover
To engage with each other, the two divided members 20 and 21 are arranged in a state where the respective engaging portions 20a and 21a face each other, and the other divided member 21 is moved in the direction of the arrow C with respect to the one divided member 20. When the convex engaging portion 21a is brought into contact with the concave engaging portion 20a and further pushed in, the two engaging portions 20a and 21a are guided along the inclined surfaces of each other.
The bi-concave engaging portion 20a moves in the radially-reducing direction to the bi-convex engaging portion 21a.
Are elastically deformed in contact with each other in the diameter-enlargement direction, and eventually, the convex engaging portion 21a gets over the concave engaging portion 20a to have a relative positional relationship in which the two can be engaged. Fitted by elastic restoring force.

According to the conventional pipe cover described above, when the two divided members are engaged, the two divided members 20, 21 are brought into a state where the respective engaging portions 20a, 21a face each other. It is necessary to arrange the two divided members close to each other and perform the engagement operation while maintaining their positions so as not to be displaced, and there is a problem that the assembling work of the two divided members is troublesome, and the piping cover As the length becomes longer, the efficiency of the assembling work of the two divided members further decreases.

Further, when the two divided members in the engaged state receive an external force in a direction opposite to the engagement direction, the external force acts in a direction to deepen the engagement between the engagement portions 20a and 21a. Can be maintained, but when the two split members receive an external force in the engagement direction, that is, an external force in the direction of reducing the diameter of the pipe cover, the direction in which the engagement between the engagement portions 20a and 21a is released. There is a problem that the two divided members are easily separated from each other because of the risk of deviation. However, in order to prevent this, if the inclination of both engaging portions 20a and 21a is set so as to become deeper in the engaging direction, the engaging portions are caught when the two split members are engaged, and This causes new problems, such as difficulty in making it easy to separate and easy detachment due to an external force in the anti-engagement direction with respect to both divided members.

In the embodiment of the pipe cover H according to the present invention shown in FIG. 1, an example of an engagement procedure between one divided member 1 and the other divided member 2 will be described. The projection 7 of the other divided member 2 is fitted into 5 and the contact receiving portions 9 and 9 are brought into contact with each other. In this state, the relative position between the opposing side edges of both divided members 1 and 2 is determined. (See FIG. 2A.) The other split member 2 is swung around the swing engagement portion Y in a direction approaching the one split member 1. (Fig. 2 (b)
With this swing operation, the first claw-shaped portion 6 in the concave portion 5 is
The second claw-shaped portion 8 of the convex portion 7 comes close to the second portion, and by further performing the swinging operation, the two come into contact with each other and can be engaged. (See Fig. 2 (c))

According to the characteristic structure of the pipe cover of the present invention, at least one pair of adjacent engaging members provided in each of the divided members is provided with the rocking engagement member. In the engaging operation, the concave portion of one of the divided members constituting the rocking engagement portion and the convex portion of the other divided member also constituting the rocking engagement portion are fitted to each other, so that the positions of the two divided members can be adjusted. The joining can be easily performed, and thereafter, the divided members can be swung around the swing engagement portion to engage the divided members. Therefore, as in the prior art, the two split members are engaged while the two split members are aligned so that the engagement portions on both side edges of the split member match the respective engagement portions of the other split members facing each other. There is no necessity. For example, even if both the divided members are long, the engagement can be performed in a short time and easily without using useless force.

Further, in forming the swing engaging portion, one of the divided members is provided with an engaging concave portion, and the other adjacent divided member is provided with an engaging convex portion which can be fitted into the concave portion. The two divided members can be fitted with the concave and convex portions, and by fitting each of them, the relative positions of the two engaging portions can be determined. Can be prevented. And, when the two split members are engaged in the swing engagement portion, a contact receiving portion that receives the two split members so as to be able to swing freely in a direction of approaching and separating from each other,
Since the concave and convex portions are provided separately from each other, it is possible to swing the two divided members around the swing engaging portion to engage them. In addition, a first claw-shaped portion is provided on one of the inner walls facing each other in the recess, and the second claw-shaped portion that is engageable with the first claw-shaped portion in a state of being fitted into the recess is formed by the protrusion. Since it is provided in the portion, it is possible to prevent the protrusion from coming off from the concave portion by engaging both claw-shaped portions, and it is possible to make it difficult for the divided members in the engaged state to come off. .

According to the pipe cover H of this embodiment, the first
In the swing engagement portion Y on one side edge of the second divided members 1 and 2, first, the convex portion 7 is fitted into the concave portion 5, and the contact receiving portions 9, 9 are brought into contact with each other (FIG. 2). (A)), the second divided member 2 is swung around the swing engagement portion Y in a direction approaching the first divided member 1 (see FIG. The step portion 8 of the convex portion 7 comes into contact with the projecting portion 6 and is caught, thereby engaging the two divided members 1 and 2 (FIG. 2).
(See (c)). At this time, the engagement of the engagement portions K, K on the side edge opposite to the swing engagement portion Y pushes the protrusion 7 into the recess 5 along the approaching direction of the two divided members 1, 2. As a result, the step portion 8 of the convex portion 7 climbs over the projecting portion 6 of the concave portion 5 while being elastically deformed, and is caught by each other.
2 can be engaged. As described above, the two divided members 1 and 2 can be engaged by either the engagement by swinging or the engagement by pushing.
