Abstract
Description
本出願は、「Portable Electronic Device Thermal Management System」という名称の2013年3月12日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/777,612号の利益を主張する。本出願には、上述の出願の優先権の利益が付与される共に、この引用により、この利益が主張されるものであり、且つ、上述の出願の内容は、引用により、そのすべてが本明細書に包含される。
Claims (16)
- 電子装置であって、
a.前記装置用の電池との直接的なアライメント状態において配設された熱源と、
b.前記熱源との熱接触状態にある熱管理システムであって、i.前記熱管理システムは、前記電池の少なくとも第1表面まで延在している、熱管理システムと、
c.前記第1表面及び前記電池の第2表面に沿って延在する前記熱管理システムの一部分であって、前記一部分は、前記電池の複数のセルとの熱連通状態にあり、且つ、前記一部分は、前記電池の機能を妨げない程度に、セルのうちの1つの内部における局所的な高温スポットの生成を回避するべく、十分に大きな拡散係数を有する、一部分と、
を有し、
d.前記電池と前記システムは、前記装置の外部表面から離隔している、
装置。 - 前記電池は、ニッケル−カドミウム電池、リチウムイオン電池、又はリチウムポリマー電池から選択された少なくとも1つを有し、且つ、前記熱源は、電子コンポーネントを有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電池の前記第2表面は、熱放散要素に隣接している、請求項2に記載の電子装置。
- 前記熱放散要素は、前記装置のフレーム又はシャーシのうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項3に記載の電子装置。
- 前記一部分は、剥離黒鉛の圧縮された粒子のシートを有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電池は、前記装置を損傷することなしに除去される能力を有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記熱管理システムは、前記電池から熱を放散させるべく、前記電池上において望ましい場所に配置された、前記電池との熱連通状態にある第2部分を更に有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記第2部分は、熱放散要素との熱接触状態にある、請求項7に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電池と前記一部分の間に配設された断熱又は誘電材料を更に有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電池と前記熱源の間のパーティションを欠いた、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記熱管理システムは、前記熱源との物理的接触状態にある、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記一部分は、黒鉛化ポリイミド樹脂のシートと、ポリマー層と、を有し、前記ポリマー層は、約1W/mK未満の面貫通方向熱伝導率と、少なくとも10ミクロンの厚さと、を有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記一部分は、圧縮された剥離黒鉛粒子のシートと、ポリマー層と、を有し、前記ポリマー層は、約1W/mK未満の面貫通方向熱伝導率を有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記一部分は、前記電池用のラベルの少なくとも一部分を有する、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 前記一部分は、前記電池用のラベルに内蔵される、請求項1に記載の電子装置。
- 電子装置であって、
a.前記装置用の電池との直接的なアライメント状態において配設された熱源と、
b.前記熱源との熱接触状態にある熱管理システムであって、i.前記熱管理システムは、前記電池の少なくとも第1表面まで延在している、熱管理システムと、
c.前記第1表面及び前記電池の第2表面に沿って延在する前記熱管理システムの一部分であって、前記一部分は、前記電池の複数のセルとの熱連通状態にあり、且つ、少なくとも0.04W/Kの拡散係数を有する、部分と、
を有し、且つ、
d.前記電池と前記システムは、前記装置の前記外部表面から離隔している、
