Claims (16)
- 脊柱外科手術のため、特に頸椎柱の領域内で使用するための、円筒形のフライスシャフト(2)と前記フライスシャフトの遠位側端部(a)に形成されたフライス歯部(3)とを備える脊柱用のフライスにおいて、前記フライスシャフト(2)の遠位側端部(a)の前記フライス歯部(3)が、前記フライスシャフト(2)の壁内の溝によって形成されており、前記溝が、前記フライスシャフト(2)の外径から、遠位側の端部(a)に向かって深く且つ幅広になっていき、したがって前記溝の間に、遠位側端部に達するまで高さが増しながら幅が狭まっていく歯(4)が形成されていることを特徴とするフライス。
- 少なくとも、前記フライスシャフト(2)の円筒形の壁の内周が、前記遠位側端部(a)で径方向平面内に存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯(4)の間を軸方向に延びる前記溝(5)が、遠位側端部(a)に向かって放物線状に拡張していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯(4)が、溝(5)と歯壁(4a)の間に、前記溝(5)の形状に対応する移行縁(4b)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記溝(5)の溝底(5a)が、前記フライス(1)の長手軸(B)に対して少なくとも13°〜15°の角度(α)を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯(4)の前端側で遠位側の切削縁が、径方向平面内に存在することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記外側の歯壁(4a)が、前記溝(5)の長さの半分までは軸に平行に延びており、前記フライス歯部(3)の切削縁が、遠位側端部(a)に向かって、前記フライス(1)の長手軸(B)に対して少なくとも30°の角度(β)で延びていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯部(3)が、傾斜して延びる前記移行縁(4b)において鋭い切削縁を備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯の側面(4a)が、前記溝(5)の長さの半分から先は、遠位側端部(a)に向かって尖っていることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載のフライス。
- 異なるサイズのフライス(1)をより判別し易くするために、前記シャフト(2)が近位側端部(b)寄りに少なくとも1つ又は複数のカラーのセラミックリング(8)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記シャフト(2)に、前記フライス(1)を操作装置又は回転装置内に固定するためのリング状の凹部(9)と、前記シャフト(2)の近位側端部(b)における少なくとも2つの向かい合う長方形スリット(10)とが形成されており、操作装置又は回転装置に対する形状結合によってトルクを前記フライス(1)に伝達できることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯(4)が軸に平行に延びることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯(4)の外縁が、前記フライスシャフト(2)の外径(7)上に存在することを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 前記歯壁(4a)の縁部が、軸に平行で、遠位側端部(a)に向かって尖っていることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のフライス。
- 特に請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも3つのフライス(1)から成るフライスセットにおいて、
第1のフライス(1)が、場合によっては公差を考慮した上で、最大でも次に大きなフライスの内径(6)に対応する外径(7)を有しており、したがって前記フライス(1)が、相互に嵌め込み可能であることを特徴とするフライスセット。 - 最も細いフライス(1)が1mmの内径(6)及び2mmの外径(7)を有し、
中間のフライス(1)が2.1mmの内径(6)及び3.6mmの外径(7)を有し、
最も太いフライス(1)が3.7mmの内径(6)及び4.7mmの外径(7)を有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載のフライスセット。
