ロツトが縮むとダンパー内の空気は空気出口(3)より外へ出るが空気出口穴が小経のため急速にロツトが縮むと内部の空気は一瞬圧縮されスプリング効果をもたらす。
又逆にロツトがダンパー内より急速に引き出るときは、空気出口穴が小経であるためダンパー内空気は一瞬負圧状態となりロツトの延びに負荷をもたせる。さらにコイルスプリング(4)が縮むことによりロツトの伸びの負荷を増大させる。
「図2」は家具にエアーダンパーを取付けた側面図である。
大地震時に家具はダンパーロツトの伸びにより一旦(A)前に移動するが、エアーダンパー内の空気は負圧となりさらにコイルスプリングの縮み力も加わりダンパーロツトの伸びを一瞬抑制する。(B)家具底部も少し移動する。
前に移動した次の瞬間(C)家具は矢印方向に激しく移動し壁に衝突する。これをエアーダンパー内の空気の圧縮効果によりその衝撃を大巾に吸収出来るものである。The basic form of the air damper of the present invention is that a piston valve (2) is attached to the tip of the telescopic rod (1) as shown in FIG.

照明器具は本体とは別にあり延長コードにて継がれている。
また、「図4」に示すのはダンパーのロツトの伸縮を回転運動に変換し発電機を回わすための機能である。
回転軸(11)にはゆるやかなピツチの回転溝がある。又回転ガイドリング(12)には回転軸(11)と同じピツチでしかも溝と同じ形状の突起がリング内側に施してある。
そして、この突起ラインが回転軸(11)の溝と噛み合った状能で回転軸(11)がガイドリング(12)に収まっている。
更にこの回転ガイドリング(12)はエアーダンパーロツト先端部に接続している。
これによりロツトの水平移動がそのまま回転軸(11)の回転となり歯車を回わし発電機が作動する。Next, "FIG. 3" shows an internal view of the lighting device built in the air damper and capable of interlocking.
