Description

The present invention relates to a lightweight metal tube and a processing machine that can easily cut a metal rod.

A processing machine that uses a cutting grindstone that rotates at high speed is widely used as a processing machine that cuts metal tubes and metal rods.

As an improvement measure, an apparatus in which a chamfering function by a chamfering cutter is added to a cutting machine has been proposed (see Patent Document 1). However, in this proposal, since the material to be cut is a pipe used as a temporary construction material, a pipe vise is used to fix and support the pipe. This method is not suitable when the material to be cut is thin.

Further, a processing method that suppresses the generation of burrs has been proposed (see Patent Document 2). In the case of cutting a metal tube, a cutting grindstone having a radius larger than that of the material to be cut is used, and in the final step of cutting the fixed metal tube, the metal tube is rotated to suppress the generation of burrs. This method is effective by adopting a method of rotating a metal tube in order to suppress the generation of burrs, but at the time of cutting the fixed metal tube before reaching the final process, the generation of burrs is suppressed. It cannot be suppressed.

The problem to be solved is that when a thin metal tube is cut using a cutting grindstone, a holding means and a cutting means suitable for suppressing deformation of the material to be cut and generation of scratches and burrs are realized. The point is to develop the mechanism.

The present invention joins the upper assembly part having the upper semicircular side plate and the lower assembly part having the lower semicircular side plate to hold the material to be cut, and the upper semicircular side plate and the lower semicircular side plate can be freely rotated by the guide part. The main feature is that the slide base of the cutting tool portion can be moved in the axial direction of the guide rod by manually operating the operation handle.

The cutting machine according to the present invention has a simple configuration, so that it is easy to carry, but it can be easily operated without causing scratches on the material to be cut and suppressing the occurrence of deformation and burrs during cutting. There is. Since the operation handle can be operated manually, there is an advantage that burrs can be reduced even when cutting a deformed material.

The upper assembly part with the upper semicircular side plate and the lower assembly part with the lower semicircular side plate are joined to secure the thin-walled tube, and the upper semicircular side plate and the lower semicircular side plate can be rotated by the guide part. By supporting, the material to be cut can be easily rotated at the time of cutting, and the slide base of the cutting tool portion can be moved in the axial direction of the guide rod by manually operating the operation handle.

3A, 3B, and 3C are a plan view, a right side view, and a plan view of a latch, respectively, of the upper assembly portion. The upper assembly portion 41 includes a pair of upper semicircular side plates 411, three connecting rods 414, a U-shaped packing 413, and four hooks 415. The upper semicircular side plate 411 includes a joint concave portion 412 formed at an end portion, and engages with a joint convex portion 422 formed at an end portion of the lower semicircular side plate 421 so that the upper assembly portion 41 and the lower assembly portion 42 are connected. When joined at the end of the joined portion and integrated as the holding assembly portion 4, it plays a role of positioning both in the circumferential direction. The four hooks 415 are mounted on the two connecting rods 414 of the upper assembly 41 and are connected to the lower assembly 42 in order to prevent the upper and lower assemblies from being separated when integrated as the holding assembly 4. It is hung on a stick.

4A and 4B are a plan view and a right side view of the lower assembly part, respectively. The lower assembly portion 42 includes a pair of lower semicircular side plates 421, three connecting rods 424, a U-shaped packing 423, and four sandwiching pieces 425. Two each of the sandwiching pieces 425 are screwed to face both the front and back surfaces of the end portion of the joint portion of the lower semicircular side plate 421. These play a role of preventing axial displacement of the holding assembly 4 when integrated as the holding assembly 4. The lower semicircular side plate 421 includes a joint convex portion 422 formed at the end portion, and engages with a joint concave portion 412 formed at the end portion of the upper semicircular side plate 411 so as to be integrated as the holding assembly portion 4. It plays the role of positioning in the circumferential direction.

The upper semicircular side plate 411 and the lower semicircular side plate 421 are each provided with a U-shaped packing 413 and a U-shaped packing 423 at portions that come into contact with the outer periphery of the material to be cut 11, and when the material to be cut 11 is held, Is assured, and at the same time, the surface of the workpiece 11 is protected. With such a configuration, even when the material 11 to be cut is a thin metal tube, there is an effect of preventing the occurrence of scratches on the surface without losing the circular shape of the cross section.

The guide part 5 includes an upper guide metal part 51 and a set of lower guide metal parts 52. 5A is a plan view of the lower guide fitting 52, and FIG. 5B is a right side view thereof. Each set of lower guide fittings 52 includes two guide rollers 522 on a roller holder 521. The upper guide fitting 51 includes an arm 511 and a guide roller 512, and is supported by the column 53 so as to be rotatable. A spring 54 is interposed between the arm 511 and the support column 53. The guide roller 512 and the guide roller 522 have grooves 513 and 523, respectively, and rotatably hold the side plate of the holding assembly portion 4 holding the material 11 to be cut. The upper guide metal part 51 is intended to support the holding assembly part 4 so that it can be used more safely.

The cutting tool part 2 includes a drive motor part 21 and a slide base part 22. The drive motor unit 21 includes a drive motor 211 and a protective cover 213, and a cutting grindstone 212 is attached to the drive motor 211. The drive motor unit 21 is held on the slide table 221 by a holding belt 214 on the motor mount 225 of the slide table unit 22.

The slide table 22 includes a slide table 221 that slides on the upper guide rod 222 and the lower guide rod 223 supported by the support column 224, and a motor mount 225 mounted on the slide table 221. The upper guide rod 222 and the lower guide rod 223 are arranged on a plane perpendicular to the upper surface of the pedestal 1 and play a role of preventing the sliding base portion 22 from being inclined. Accordingly, there is an effect that the rotating surface of the cutting grindstone 212 does not tilt even while the slide base 221 is moving.

The operation unit 3 includes a handle 31, a link 32, and a stator 33. The handle 31 can be rotated around a support shaft a34 installed on the slide base 221 and includes a support shaft b35. It is connected to the link 32. The stator 33 includes a support shaft c36 and is movable on the lower guide rod 223, but is fixed at a specific position. Further, the support shaft c <b> 36 is connected to the link 32. When the handle 31 is rotated in the axial direction of the vertical guide rod, the slide base 221 moves in the same direction. The movement of the cutting tool portion 2 in the axial direction of the workpiece 11 can be finely adjusted, and it is effective as a means for suppressing the occurrence of burrs.

The cutting process is described.
1. After temporarily fixing the stator 33 and moving the handle 31 back and forth in the axial direction of the workpiece 11, after confirming the movable range of the slide base 22, the stator 33 is fixed. The movable range varies depending on the shape and thickness of the material 11 to be cut.
2. The drive motor unit 21 to which the cutting grindstone 212 is attached is placed on the motor mount 225 and held by the holding belt 214. Needless to say, the plane of rotation of the cutting grindstone 212 is perpendicular to the base 1.
3. The material to be cut 11 is placed on the lower assembly part 42, the cutting location is confirmed, the upper assembly part 41 is installed, and the holding assembly part 4 is latched to integrate the holding assembly part 4. To do.
4). The circumference of the upper semicircular side plate 411 and the lower semicircular side plate 421 of the holding assembly part 4 is inserted into the groove 523 of the guide roller 522 of the guide part 5, and similarly, the arm 511 is tilted to the groove 513 of the guide roller 512. Include. The arm 511 is attracted to the column 53 by the spring 54. In this way, the holding assembly portion 4 that holds the workpiece 11 can be smoothly rotated about the axis of the workpiece 11.
5. The cutting grindstone 212 is rotated.
6). The handle 31 is moved to start cutting while the cutting grindstone 212 is in contact with the workpiece 11.
7). When the grindstone surface of the cutting grindstone 212 slightly cuts through the tube wall of the material 11 to be cut, the handle operation is stopped and the holding assembly section 4 is turned.
8). The rotation direction of the holding assembly portion 4 is opposite to the rotation direction of the cutting grindstone 212.
9. After cutting, chamfering is performed with a round file, a round grindstone, or a scraper.

Indicates cutting conditions. The drive motor used was a commercially available one, and the cutting grindstone 212 was manufactured by Nippon Resibon Co., Ltd. (thickness 1 mm, outer diameter 105 mm, peripheral speed 80 m / s or less). The material 11 to be cut is a stainless steel tube having an outer diameter of 105 mm and a wall thickness of 0.8 mm. There were few burrs generated at the time of cutting, and a practical effect was obtained. When the material to be cut is a pipe material, the feed of the cutting grindstone 212 is constant, so the operation of the handle 31 is only at the beginning of cutting, but when the material to be cut is a deformed material, the cutting depth varies, In addition, the handle 31 must be operated. The dimensions described in this specification are approximate.
Example 2

FIG. 6 shows a semicircular side plate for applying the present invention to the cutting of a metal punch as a second embodiment. The gist of the present invention is also effective for metal tubes and metal rods having irregular cross sections. As shown in the drawing, the upper semicircular side plate 61 and the lower semicircular side plate 62 have a circular outer periphery, but the portions in contact with the material to be cut are formed along the outlines 63 and 64 to be cut. The form in which the holding fixture holds the material to be cut is the same as when the material to be cut has a circular cross section. That is, the lower assembly portion includes a pair of lower semicircular side plates 62, three connecting rods (not shown), a U-shaped packing 622, and four sandwiching pieces 621. Two each of the sandwiching pieces 621 are screwed so as to face both the front and back surfaces of the end portion of the joint portion of the lower semicircular side plate 62. These play a role of preventing axial displacement of the holding assembly when integrated as a holding assembly. The lower semicircular side plate 62 includes a joint convex portion 623 formed at the end portion, engages with a joint concave portion 611 formed at the end portion of the upper semicircular side plate 61, and is integrated as a holding assembly portion. Plays the role of circumferential positioning. The U-shaped packing of the upper assembly part is installed as necessary.

Since the slide of the cutting tool part can be moved in the axial direction of the guide rod by manually operating the operation handle, the cutting wheel is not round and the cutting wheel is cut along the contour line when cutting a deformed material. Since it can move, it is effective in suppressing the generation of burrs.
