側窓の内側上方に車体長手方向に設置した空調ダクトの底部に前記側窓と略平行に設けられた空調空気吹出し風道に設置する鉄道車両の空調空気吹出し量調節具であって、
前記吹出し風道に取付けられる、背板の部分に空気吹出し穴を長手方向に1ピッチの間隔若しくはこれよりも大きい間隔で等間隔置きに設けたリップチャンネル状の固定板と、前記固定板の内側の空域に長手方向に摺動自在に嵌合される、空気吹出し穴を長手方向に前記間隔と同一間隔で等間隔置きに設けるとともに、手で掴んでスライドさせるつまみを設けた可動板とからなり、前記固定板に、可動板の空気吹出し穴と固定板の空気吹出し穴とが一致した全開位置に前記可動板の移動を規制する第1のストッパと、可動板の空気吹出し穴と固定板の空気吹出し穴との重なりがない全閉位置に前記可動板の移動を規制する第2のストッパとを設けたことを特徴とする鉄道車両の空調空気吹出し量調節具。
