開口部を設けた電気機器の筐体内部の所定の箇所に配置され、前記開口部を介してリモコン装置からの信号光を受光するリモコン受光素子を備えるリモコン受光部において、
前記開口部から筐体内側に略垂直に延設されたリブの内壁に研磨による鏡面加工を施した反射部を設け、
前記開口部が円形のとき前記リブは前記開口部より筐体内部側に向かって開口面積が広くなるようにテーパ状に形成され、
前記開口部の半径をR、前記リブの垂直方向の長さをH、前記開口部から前記リモコン受光素子の受光面までの距離をD、前記開口部より入射する信号光の該開口部の鉛直方向に対する入射角度をθとする場合、
前記開口部は、

を満たし、
