本考案はガソリン、軽油、灯油、重油などの液体燃料の燃料改質に関するものである。
【従来の技術】
天然ガス、ガソリン、軽油、灯油、重油などの液体燃料の改質器は多々あるが、複雑な構造であり、セラミックスの遠赤外線効果では十分な改質が望めないと考えられていた。
【考案が解決しようとする課題】
セラミックスの遠赤外線効果による燃料の改質
【課題を解決するための手段】
構造は単純な円筒形の形状とし、下に燃料の流入口を、上に燃料の流出口を設けた。これを燃料タンクと燃料フィルターの間で燃料ホースまたは燃料パイプに取り付けて内部を燃料が通過するように取り付ける。内部に入れるセラミックスはCDA社製を採用した。非常に強力でイオン化作用だけでなく電気解離作用まで引き起こす。また、下から上へ重力に逆らって流すことで抵抗が大きくなり、内部での乱流がより大きくなるため、ほぼ完全に燃料が改質される。十分な空間が必要となるため、セラミックスを片側に寄せて空間での混合処理を行うようにする。
ここで、容器は金属または耐油性容器で良く、形状も流れが下から上であり、空間容量が十分であれば問題ない。セラミックスにおいても燃料の流量対比が定量であれば良い。
【考案の実施の形態】
容器は、上下にニップルをつけた金属または耐油性で直径70ミリ、長さ210ミリ、重さ2.1キログラムの円筒の形を呈する。燃料は下から上に流れるように垂直に取り付ける。
内部はパンチングメタル(セラミックス押さえ)に上下を挟まれた直径10ミリのセラミックスが抑えバネによって下側へ取り付けられている。
【考案の効果】
本考案品は、液体燃料を使用するエンジン及びバーナー(ボイラー、焼却炉)に使用する。
燃料が完全燃焼することにより、エンジン及びバーナーの内部は清浄となり、効率がアップする。大型トラック(10トン以上)の一般走行において13%以上、ボイラーにおいては20%以上の効率アップが確認された。
ボイラーの燃焼テストにおいて本考案を取り付けたものとそうでないものとの対照実験を行った。225リットルの燃料タンク(30cm×75cm×)でギアーポンプの容量は毎時45リットルという条件下で行ったところ、本考案を取り付けたものの燃料消費量は5.228リットルで、そうでないものの燃料消費量は7.425リットルと、通常の燃料の71%の消費で済むことが分かった。
