(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] When rubber of a seal packing material is deteriorated, unequally deformed or worn, the sealing performance deteriorates in a relatively short time. An inner press contact portion of a seal packing has an upward gradient with respect to a front end surface of a joint cylinder from an intersection M with a contact front end surface of an outer press contact portion to a sharp end. The outer press contact portion 8d is formed in a horizontal plane parallel to the front end surface of the joint cylinder 2 from the intersection M with the contact front end surface of the inner press contact portion 8c to the sharp tip. By doing, seal packing 8,8
At the time of press-fitting, first, the inner press-contact portions 8c, 8c are gradually press-pressed with an appropriate elastic pressure from the distal end to the proximal end thereof, and thereafter, the outer press-contact portions 8d, 8d are press-pressed together. Due to this, the mutual contact end surfaces are in close contact with each other in a vacuum without embracing air therebetween, thereby maintaining the suction force, and connecting the inner press contact portion 8c and the outer press contact portion 8d to the inner peripheral corner D of the packing mounting groove 7. It is characterized in that a strong elastic crimping force is applied to the entire seal packing 8 by supporting the outer peripheral corners E in a well-balanced manner.

And projecting toward the front of the joint end face, and extending in a wedge shape along the tightening rotation direction (clockwise rotation) of the fastening operation ring 3 on the outer periphery of both half circumferential portions between the roots of the hook claws 4, 4. Protruding wedge ridges 6, 6 are formed.

An annular seal packing 8 made of a soft elastic material such as synthetic rubber is mounted inside.

The outer circumference of the upright portion 8a is formed substantially equal to the outer circumference of the packing mounting groove 7, and the inner circumference of the upright portion 8a is formed to have a larger diameter than the inner circumference of the packing mounting groove 7, and together with the lateral projection 8b. When the upright portion 8a is fitted into the packing mounting groove 7, a slight gap is formed between the upright portion 8a and the inner peripheral surface thereof.

The inner press contact portion 8c is about 10 degrees (about 7 to 13 degrees) with respect to the front end surface of the joint cylinder 2 from the point of intersection M with the contact front end surface of the outer press contact portion 8d to the sharp tip A. , Of which 10 degrees are preferred). The outer press-contact portion 8d has a contact tip surface extending from an intersection M with the contact tip surface of the inner press-contact portion 8c to a sharp tip B. It is formed in a horizontal plane parallel to the tip end surface of the joint cylinder 2 to the extent that it extends.

The intersection M is set at substantially the center (center point) of the width (thickness) of the upright portion 8a.

The rear surface of the inner press contact portion 8c is formed as an upwardly inclined surface from a position C lower than the front end surface of the joint tube 2 to the front end A on the inner peripheral surface of the upright portion 8a, and water is supplied as shown in FIG. In the non-joined state of the hose joint 1, the water supply hose is in a non-contact state with the inner peripheral side corner D between the distal end surface of the joint tube 2 and the inner peripheral surface of the packing mounting groove 7 as shown in FIG. 2. When the joints 1 and 1 are joined together and the seal packings 8 and 8 are pressed against each other, the inner side just before tilting so that the contact end surfaces of the inner press-contact portions 8 c are parallel to the end surface of the joint tube 2. The inner pressure contact portion 8c is brought into contact with the peripheral corner portion D, and is supported from the rear side against the fall of the inner press contact portion 8c toward the distal end surface side of the joint tube 2, so that the inner press contact portions 8c, 8c are completely pressed against each other. .

The rear surface of the outer press-contact portion 8b is formed as an upwardly sloped surface from the outer peripheral corner E between the distal end surface of the joint cylinder 2 and the outer inner peripheral surface of the packing mounting groove 7 to the sharpened distal end. When the inner press-contact portions 8c and 8c are press-bonded to each other, the outer press-contact portions 8d and 8d are also configured to be press-pressed with the rear-end bases thereof supported by the outer-side corner portions E slightly later than this. .

Therefore, when the seal packings 8 and 8 are pressure-bonded to each other, first, the inner press-contact portions 8c and 8c gradually start press-fitting with an appropriate resilient pressure from the distal end to the proximal end thereof, and then the outer press-contact portions 8d and 8c. 8d are pressure-bonded to each other, so that the contact end surfaces are in close contact with each other in a vacuum without embracing air between them so as to maintain a suction force, and the inner pressure contact portion 8c and the outer pressure contact portion 8d are formed in a packing mounting groove. The inner peripheral corner D and the outer peripheral corner E of 7 are supported in a well-balanced manner, and a strong elastic crimping force is applied.

In particular, since the base end of the inner press-contact portion 8c can secure a sufficient thickness between the point M and the point C, the bending strength of the inner press-contact portion 8c is maintained, and the elastic repulsive force at the time of press bonding is maintained. Thus, the pressure on the inner peripheral side of the packing where the water pressure acts directly can be sufficiently ensured.

The wedge ridges 6, 6 are provided inside the hook claws 4, 4 projecting from the counterpart joint cylinder 2 when the pair of joint cylinders 2, 2 are brought into contact with each other via the packings 8, 8. A gap 9 is provided between the tip and the hook 4 adjacent to the tip of the recess 5 so that the hook 4 can come and go freely.

Although not shown, ring grooves having semicircular cross-sections facing each other are formed on both rotating and sliding surfaces to enable the turning ring 3 to smoothly rotate with respect to the joint cylinder 2. A large number of bearing balls are loaded between the ring grooves.

A water supply hose 10 is connected to the inside of the joint tube 2.

When the connecting cylinders 2, 2 configured as described above are abutted and fastened to each other, the hooking claw 4 and the tip of the wedge ridge 6 in the fastening operating ring 3 of one of the connecting cylinders 2 are connected. When the hook claws 4 projecting from the fastening operation ring 3 of the other joint cylinder 2 are aligned with the position of the gap 9 of the other, the joint cylinders 2 are brought into contact with each other and the hook claws 4 Are located on the outer periphery of the engagement operating ring 3 of the other party, respectively.

In this state, when the opposing fastening operation rings 3, 3 are relatively rotated in the direction of the tips of the wedge ridges 6, 6, the respective wedge ridges 6, 6 are engaged with the other hooks 4, 4. And the sliding surfaces of the hook claws 4 slidably move along the circumferentially inclined surfaces of the rear surfaces of the wedge ridges 6, 6, so that they come into pressure contact with the rear surface. The cylinders 2 and 2 are tightened in a relative direction, and are tightly joined to each other through packings 8 and 8.

[Effect of the invention]

As described above, according to the present invention, when the seal packings are press-fitted, the inner press-contact portions first gradually start press-fitting from the distal end to the base end, and then the outer press-contact portions press-fit each other. The contact end surfaces of the two are in close contact with each other in a vacuum without embracing air between them so that the suction force is maintained and the inner and outer press contact parts are in contact with the inner and outer corners of the packing mounting groove. Each is supported in a well-balanced manner, and a strong elastic crimping force is applied.

In particular, since the inner press-contact portion is inclined upward and the base end thereof can secure a sufficient thickness, the bending strength of the inner press-contact portion is maintained, and the water pressure is directly applied by the elastic repulsion force during crimping. A sufficient crimping force on the inner peripheral side of the packing that acts can be secured.

As a result, even if the material of the seal packing is slightly deteriorated, deformed unequally, or abraded, the sealing property can be ensured durably.

A wedge-shaped cross section is formed on a tip end portion of a joint tube, which is mounted in an annular packing mounting groove provided on a front end surface of the joint tube, and which protrudes from the groove into an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side. An annular seal packing made of a soft elastic material provided with an inner press-contact portion and an outer press-contact portion, wherein the inner press-contact portion has a contact tip surface extending from an intersection with a contact tip surface of the outer press-contact portion to a sharp tip. The outer press-contact portion is formed on an inclined surface that forms an ascending slope with respect to the front end surface of the joint tube, and the outer press-contact portion has a tip end of the joint tube from the intersection with the contact front surface of the inner press-contact portion to the sharp tip. The rear surface of the inner press-contact portion is formed on a horizontal plane parallel to the surface, and the rear surface of the inner press-contact portion has an inclined surface having an upward slope from a position lower than the distal end surface of the joint cylinder on the inner peripheral surface of the upright portion below the protruding distal end portion. Formed in the water hose connection In the mating state, the inner peripheral corner between the end surface of the joint cylinder and the inner peripheral surface of the packing mounting groove is in a non-contact state, and the water supply hose joints are joined to press the seal packings together. When the inner press-contact portion contacts the inner peripheral corner just before tilting so that the contact front end surfaces of the inner press-contact portions are parallel to the front end surface of the joint tube, the inner press-contact portion falls down to the front end surface side of the joint tube. A seal packing in a water supply hose joint, which is configured to be supported from the rear side with respect to the water supply hose.
