As shown in FIG. 1, a washing / dewatering tub 1 has a stirring blade 2 rotatably provided at the bottom thereof, and reduces the driving force from a motor 4 via a speed reduction mechanism 3.
The driving force is transmitted to the washing and dewatering tub 1 during dehydration. The switching between the dehydration and the washing at this time is performed by driving the drain valve 5. When the drain valve 5 is driven, the washing water is drained and the clutch of the speed reduction mechanism 3 is switched to perform the dehydration operation.

In the above configuration, when the setting of the dehydration operation is input to the control device 9 by the user, or when the dehydration process starts in a fully automatic operation, the control device 9 drives the drain valve 5 and the motor 4 to decelerate. The washing and dewatering tub 1 is rotationally driven via the mechanism 3. When the user opens the washing tub lid 6 during this spin-drying operation, the contacts 82a and 82b of the lid detection switch 8, which have been pressed and closed by the lever 6b, open, and a signal to open the lid is input to the control device 9, and the control device 9 stops the rotation of the motor 4 and stops the driving of the drain valve 5. When the drive of the drain valve 5 is stopped, the brake mechanism in the speed reduction mechanism 3 operates to decelerate and stop the washing and dewatering tub 1.

Also, if the clothes in the washing and dewatering tub 1 are biased during such a dehydrating operation, the washing and dewatering tub 1 will swing right and left, and the washing machine body 7 will vibrate. At this time, due to the vibration of the washing and dewatering tub 1, the lever 83 of the lid detection switch 8 is pressed, and a pulse signal of Pw = about 50 to 200 msec is output from the contacts 82a and 82b as shown in FIG. Input to the device 9. Control device 9
Detects the imbalance during the dehydration operation based on this signal, stops the dehydration operation, supplies water to the washing and dehydration tub 1, stirs the clothes with the stirring blades 2, corrects the bias, and then drains again to dehydrate. continue.

Further, the control means includes the first lid detecting means.
Or when one of the second lid detecting means is turned off
Then, it was decided that the washing tub lid was open,
The opening detection angle of the washing tub lid can be reduced,
Safety during operation of the machine can be further improved, and the first lid
The detection means is mounted on the printed wiring board of the control device.
Therefore, wiring and connection from the first lid detection means to the control means
No need for a connector, etc.
Countermeasures can be reduced. Also, the first lid detecting hand
