軽減できる上に、高張力鋼製のボルトを使用しても熱に
よって変質するおそれがなく、またナット固定板は嵩ば
っていないから、橋脚と鋼板との間に充填材を充填する
場合に邪魔になることがなく、全体として工期を短縮で
きるというすぐれた効果が得られる。
