2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a kind of conveyor used for transferring veneer veneer (hereinafter simply referred to as veneer), for example, disclosed in "Veneer veneer sticking and conveying apparatus" (Japanese Patent Publication No. 63-26056). As described above, at a predetermined stab position, a single plate is simultaneously stabbed in a width direction orthogonal to the fibers by an endless stab belt having a large number of needles, and then the predetermined stab release is performed. Sticking conveyors of the type which are transported to a position are known.

In the past, this type of stabbed conveyor uses an endless transfer belt provided directly with a large number of needle-shaped members over the entire circumference as the stabbed belt. However, there is a problem as described later in practical use due to adopting a configuration of rotating and running in one direction.

[0004] That is, the holding force of the stabbed belt is:
The holding force per needle is determined by the repulsive force of the veneer fibers which repels the spread of veneer due to the piercing of the needles. In general, the force required for piercing has the same tendency. On the other hand, in the conventional piercing belt, a large number of needles are directly implanted in a transfer belt, and each needle is used. For example, if the interval between needle-like bodies is set to be relatively wide for a thick veneer, the holding force is inevitably insufficient when a thin veneer is used. The problem that the plate easily falls during the transfer process occurs, and conversely, if the interval between the needles is set to be relatively narrow for thin veneers, it is extremely difficult to pierce when targeting thick veneers. If you forcibly puncture the needle, the needle-shaped body may be damaged (bent or broken). Consequently, the thickness of the veneer suitable for transport may be limited constrained is one drawback.

[0005] Further, in such a stabbed belt,
If the support of the needle-shaped body is soft, the needle-shaped body is easily inclined with respect to the transfer belt at the initial stage of piercing, and if the needle-shaped body is continuously pierced, the needle-shaped body may be bent or broken. While it is necessary to fix the needles as firmly as possible, such as by permanently adhering to the transfer belt, the needles need to be fixed over the entire circumference of the transfer belt, as in a conventional stab belt. If the configuration of direct implantation is adopted, in spite of the fact that the theoretical wearing time of the piercing belt is considerably long, for example, when some needle-like bodies are damaged due to piercing into a hard knot, etc., One of the drawbacks is that the entire stabbed belt needs to be replaced, and as a result, the maintenance cost of the stabbed belt increases.

Hereinafter, the veneer can be sequentially processed by repeating the same operation. In the piercing conveyor according to the present invention, the running belt and the piercing tool constitute the piercing belt. Therefore, by preparing a plurality of types of stabbing implements in which the arrangement positions of the needle-shaped bodies are different in advance, and replacing the stabbing implements each time according to the thickness of the target veneer, We can cope with the change of veneer thickness without any trouble,
The limitation on the thickness of the veneer, which is one of the difficulties of the conventional piercing conveyor, can be solved.

In addition, since the needle-like body is provided on the stabbing implement, if a part of the needle-like body is damaged, it is sufficient to replace the needle-like body in units of the stabbing implement, and the entire embroidery belt can be used. Since there is no need for replacement, the maintenance management cost of the stabbed belt can be reduced compared to the conventional stabbed conveyor.

The interval between the needle holes formed in the running belt is as follows.
It is sufficient if the interval matches or less than the interval of the needles suitable for transferring the thinnest veneer, and all are set at equal intervals in view of the theoretical compatibility of piercing tools However, since there is not less than an allowable area in the interval between the needle-shaped bodies suitable for transferring a veneer having a specific thickness, the types of puncturing tools practically necessary are at most two to three. Since they are of different types, even if they are not necessarily all set at equal intervals, there is no possibility that the compatibility of the stabbing implements will be significantly degraded.

The needle hole is preferably made as thin as possible in view of the stability of the support of the needle-like body as long as it does not interfere with the insertion. In principle, the needle hole also corresponds to the sticking position. It is sufficient to pierce only the part, but it is preferable to pierce other parts as well, so that the position where the stabbing implement is combined can be changed as necessary, and the entire circumference of the traveling belt is effectively used As a result, the running period of the running belt itself can be prolonged, which is beneficial, and accordingly, the mode of replacing the piercing device is diversified.

That is, for example, in the above-mentioned embodiment, when the needle hole is pierced only in the portion corresponding to the piercing position of the running belt, the set screw is opened to replace the piercing device. After removing one of the belt guides, shift the embroidery belt sideways to replace the old embroidery tool with the new embroidery tool, and then reattach the belt guide, and, if necessary, After the conveyor was somewhat relaxed and the part with the old stab was rotated at least to the position where it could disengage the belt guide, the old stab and the new stab were replaced, and then the new stab was provided. One of the exchange modes in which the portion is again rotated to the position corresponding to the stab position.

However, if the needle holes are also pierced in portions other than the portion corresponding to the stab position of the running belt, the stab conveyer is somewhat relaxed as necessary, and at least the belt guide is removed. After assembling the new piercing tool first, the part with the new piercing tool is rotated to the position corresponding to the piercing position, and the old piercing tool is removed at the position where the belt guide is removed. It is also possible to adopt an exchange form for removing the clothing.

Further, if necessary, by applying the above-mentioned exchange mode, two types of needle-like members are provided at two different positions on the traveling belt except for the portion where the rotating member is engaged. Each time the thickness of the target veneer changes, rotate the portion provided with the type of stabbing implement to the position corresponding to the piercing position, and In this case, it is possible to further simplify the exchange of the two types of puncturing implements having different positions of the needle-like body by repeatedly and forwardly and reversely rotating each time on the basis of.

However, when the assembling position of the piercing device is changed as described above, in order to properly perform forward and reverse rotations of the piercing device by the reversible driving source, the assembling device is assembled. It is important to keep the position constant, and if necessary, an appropriate mark is provided on the puncture tool or the transfer belt, and for example, a position similar to the position of the single-plate detector described above, or another appropriate position is provided. Using various sensors, detect the presence of the piercing device itself (the needle-like body is also a part thereof) or the presence of the mark or the like, or confirm the position by visual inspection. It is necessary to stretch the stab belt so that the provided portion is aligned with the position corresponding to the stab position, and to adjust the reversible drive source to perform forward / reverse operation based on the position.

On the other hand, the length of the piercing device is not particularly problematic in practical use as long as it is substantially the same even if there is a slight excess or deficiency based on the width of the veneer. For example, the tool may be used as it is for transferring a three-layer veneer, and a long-size stab may be substituted for a short stab.

Further, the interval between the needle-shaped members provided on the puncturing device may be set to be suitable for the needle hole of the running belt within a range suitable for the thickness of the target veneer. In view of the fact that the interval between the needles suitable for the transfer of a veneer has a considerable allowable area, it is not always necessary to set all the intervals at equal intervals. In the case of using the embroidery belt of the embodiment 2), it is not always necessary to align the positions and the intervals of the needle-like bodies of each embroidery belt, but in any case, the detachment of the veneer due to the air resistance may occur. From the necessity of suppression, it is preferable that at least one needle-like body is set to be pierced at least in the vicinity of the leading end in the traveling direction of the veneer.

The needle-like body preferably has a sharpened tip so that it is easy to pierce the veneer, and a shape in which the veneer is difficult to come out.
(Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-34332),
Needle-like bodies having a length enough to penetrate the veneer sufficiently, and provided at least in the portion penetrating the veneer with a locking portion for preventing the veneer from coming off, are preferred. There is no particular problem in practical use even if the needle-like body has a length sufficient to simply pass through the veneer.

Further, as exemplified in the above embodiment, the endless toothed belt is provided with a needle hole at the bottom of the tooth to be used as a running belt, and the teeth of the belt-shaped toothed belt of the same standard as the running belt. If a configuration is used in which a needle-like body is implanted and adhered to the part and used as a stab, the pitch of each tooth is constant,
It is useful because the measurement of the interval is unnecessary when drilling a needle hole or implanting a needle-like body, and the work of forming the stabbing belt is significantly simplified as a whole. It becomes difficult to shift in the same direction.

As is apparent from the above, according to the stabbing conveyor according to the present invention, the stabbing belt is formed by a combination of the traveling belt and the stabbing implement which are conveniently separated so as to be suitable for each function. Because it is a configuration, it is possible to solve the problems of the conventional piercing conveyor, the problem of the restriction on the thickness of the veneer, and the problem of the maintenance management cost of the piercing belt, without any trouble. It has a significant effect on the rationalization of veneer processing.
