(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To summarize the idea of a portable nebulizer that is inexpensive, portable, and highly therapeutic. [Constitution] The present invention is a portable nebulizer, which comprises a nebulizer sprayer and a portable compressor. The nebulizer atomizer can be used as a commercially available product. The portable compressor is composed of a gripping air compressor that applies gripping force and stepping force in order to obtain necessary compression pressure and jet air, a stepping air compressor, and an air retaining tank that applies contracting force of rubber. The air retention tank is covered with a pressure protection net for the pressure resistance and safety of the tank. [Effect] The portable compressor exhibited almost the same performance as the electric compressor. As a result, its medical effect is superior to mechanical spray, and is comparable to the nebulizer of an electric compressor. Therefore, the portable nebulizer is sufficiently practical and is an important idea in medicine.

Drugs such as antibiotics, steroid hormones, proteolytic enzymes, and vasoconstrictors are dissolved and atomized by an atomizer to form fine particles. It is a routine medical practice to use it for treating diseases such as lower respiratory tract infection and inflammation. Nebulizer atomizers / electric compressors, ultrasonic nebulizers, portable aerosol sprayers, mechanical sprayers, etc. are available as equipment and devices for spraying and atomizing. These instruments and devices are used for medical treatment in hospitals and clinics, and sold and used in pharmacies and drug stores. Among them, the fine particles produced by the nebulizer atomizer have a particle size of 10 microns or less, have a smoke-like property, freely penetrate into narrow gaps, and exert the effect of the drug solution, which is a very effective therapeutic device in otolaryngology. It is used frequently.

[Problems solved by the device]

The nebulizer sprayer / electric compressor has a great effect, but the nebulizer sprayer / electric compressor set and ultrasonic nebulizer are too large to carry. Also, since it is expensive, it is not widely used at home. The diameter of fine particles generated by aerosol spray, mechanical spray, etc. is large and only linearly scatters, so that it does not reach the affected area with a complicated shape and the medical effect of the nebulizer sprayer cannot be obtained. In order to solve the above problems, it is necessary to manufacture an inexpensive portable nebulizer that is small, lightweight, portable, and can supply compressed air to the nebulizer for a required time to atomize fine particles.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The nebulizer sprayer / electric compressor is composed of a nebulizer sprayer and an electric compressor. Nebulizer sprayer

[Figure 1] As shown in A, it is small and lightweight, and there is no problem in carrying. However, the electric compressor requires a power source and is quite heavy. The only way to make it portable is to change the electric compressor to a completely different compressor. We considered a nebulizer sprayer with a manual rubber double ball using gripping force, but it was impossible. Although high pressure compressed air is required to operate the nebulizer sprayer, the pressure resistance of the manual rubber double ball is insufficient because it cannot pump high pressure air, and due to hand fatigue etc. The required spray time could not be maintained. Therefore, it is necessary to devise a portable compressor that uses not only the hands but also the stepping force of the foot, provides sufficient pressure resistance, and maintains the necessary air pressure and spray time. The ability required for the compressor is that the drug solution (spraying amount of about 100 mg or more / minute) can be continuously sprayed for 1 to 2 minutes or more, and can be sprayed for about 5 minutes in total. This portable compressor is made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, plastic, etc. and applied the grip force air compressor (8) and the stepping air compressor (12) which applied the elasticity of rubber, and applied the rubber shrinkage and the compression repulsion force of air. By combining the air-tightening tank (10), it has the same performance as an electric compressor. The operating principle of the grip force air compressor (8) and the stepping air compressor (12) is to compress the compressor with a hand or a foot when air is pumped. At this time, the check valves (7, 11) on the air outflow side are opened, and the check valves (9, 13) on the air inflow side are closed. As a result, the compressed air flows into the air retaining tank (10) and the compressed air is stored. When the compression is stopped, the air compressor (10, 12) returns to the old state due to the repulsive force of the material, the check valves (7, 11) on the air outflow side are closed, and the check valves (9, 13) on the air inflow side are opened. Be done. By the above repeating operation, the compressed air is pumped to the air retaining tank (10) and the compressed air is stored. When the pressure exceeds a certain level, the air stop clip (6) is opened, and continuous compressed air flows into the nebulizer at high speed, enabling the necessary amount of fine particles to be sprayed.

The nebulizer atomizer shown in FIG. Connect the nebulizer sprayer to the mobile compressor and close the air stop clip (6) on the mobile compressor. The gripping air compressor (8) and the stepping air compressor (12) are compressed by the gripping force and the pedaling force, and the compressed air is sent to the air retaining tank (10). The pneumatic tank (10) expands to the limit of the size of the pressure resistant net. If excessive pressure occurs, the safety valve (18) is released to protect the device. There is a check valve (7, 9, 11, 13) in the compressed air, so when the air stop clip is opened, it will be ejected from the nozzle 4 of the nebulizer atomizer at high speed to atomize the liquid medicine in the nebulizer's narrow tube to atomize it. At the same time, compressed air is sent by grip force or pedal force to continuously spray the chemical liquid for 1 to 5 minutes. The atomized drug solution sprayed from the mouth or nose is carried by the flow of air and carried to every corner of the upper and lower respiratory tracts to exert its medicinal effect.

Connect the portable compressor to the nebulizer sprayer as shown in FIG. Nebulizer Put 3 ml of purified water in the atomizer (A) instead of the drug solution. The air stop clip (6) shown in the figure is closed, and compressed air is pumped to the air reservoir tank (10) by the grip force and the treading force to expand the air reservoir tank (10) to the maximum. The air stop clip (6) is opened, and compressed air is pumped and sprayed by the grip force and the pedal force. Weigh the amount of spray for 1 minute and examine the spray ability. As a result, five times of experiments were performed, and the spray amount with an average of 196.2 mg and a coefficient of variation of 5.1 was confirmed. Connect an electric compressor to the same nebulizer sprayer as shown in Fig. 1, and put 3 ml of purified water in place of the drug solution into the nebulizer sprayer and spray for 1 minute. As a result, the amount of sprayed purified water was 115.4 mg on average and the coefficient of variation was 3.6.

The nebulizer sprayer (A) shown in FIG. 2 was operated in the same manner as above, and the required amount of nebulizer sprayer could be easily formed by alternately stepping on the stepping air compressor (12).

[Effect of device]

As a result of the experiment, the spray amount of the portable compressor was about 1.7 times larger than that of the nebulizer using the electric compressor, but the physical state of the spray particles was exactly the same. In the experiment of continuously spraying, it could be easily sprayed continuously for 2 to 3 minutes. If it is necessary to spray for 5 minutes, it may be carried out twice, and if the spray amount is large, the spray time may be reduced. Considering this result, it is considered that the medical effect is far superior to that of the mechanical sprays that have hitherto been marketed in pharmacies, and that it is almost comparable to the nebulizer using an electric compressor. The device of the present invention is light in weight, portable and can be used even without electricity. In addition, this product can be produced at low cost because it can be easily produced by improving or combining commercially available products. By using this product and appropriate medicines such as chemotherapeutic agents such as sulfa drugs, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents, etc., treatment of rhinitis, empyema, bronchitis, etc. It is also effective in preventing inflammation and pneumonia. It is also effective in alleviating the symptoms of asthma. Conventionally, nebulizers have been used only in clinics and hospitals, but this product can be used freely at home by patients' own choice and effective treatment can be achieved. The therapeutic effect, convenience, and economic efficiency of this are extremely large.
