片を上下両端部に備えた支え板を用いた場合には、パレ
ット上に移載した後においても、棒状に積み重ねられた
物品を上下方向から挟み付けて挟圧保持することがで
き、荷崩れの発生を防止して安全性をより高めることが
できる。

圧保持する摺動自在な支持片を上下両端部に備えた支え
板を、物品搬送コンベアとパレットの間に位置して立設
状態で配置し、 前記支え板全体を下降させていくことによって、前記搬
送コンベアから順次運ばれてくる物品を支え板壁面に沿
わせながら上下方向に棒状に積み重ねていき、所定個の
物品が支え板壁面に沿って積み重ねられ時点で、前記支
持片を移動して棒状に積み重ねられた物品を上下方向か
ら挟み付けて挟圧保持し、 該支持片によって荷崩れ不可能に挟圧保持された物品を
支え板全体ごと持ち上げてパレットの指定の積付位置に
移載することを特徴とする荷積方法。
