たり、下水処理場の負荷を増大させることがないという
効果がある。

よりも下方部分にトラップ部を設けているので、例え投
入後直ちに仕切り弁を開閉しなくそのまま生ごみを放置
していても排水筒に流れ込んだ水が溜まって生ごみを水
浸し状態にすることもなくなり、よって生ごみの主な成
分である有機物が排水に溶け出す量も少なく、BOD
(生物科学的酸素要求量)も増加しないので、河川を汚
したり、下水処理場の負加を増大させることがない。(4)仕切り弁はスライド開閉方式としているので排水筒
下方空間を大きく活用することが出来、よって大きな袋
を設置することが出来て生ごみ廃棄回数を低減し使い勝
手を向上させることが出来る
