A conventional PVA grindstone is manufactured by mixing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, abrasive grains, and a foaming agent, and subjecting the mixture to foam molding using a predetermined mold. However, the obtained PVA grindstone has the problem that it is fragile and often chipped when a temporary stress is concentrated, such as during polishing, because of its flexibility and the presence of bubbles inside.

For example, when impregnating a non-woven fabric made of synthetic fiber with a polyvinyl alcohol resin, the polyvinyl alcohol resin has a high viscosity, so that the dispersion of the abrasive grains is poor, and it has been necessary to use a low concentration. Therefore, considering the abrasive grain ratio, etc., the WPU of the nonwoven fabric web increases, and the water content increases, so when the roll is tightened in a wet state in a roll, it takes a long time to disperse the water in the center of the roll. In short, productivity is extremely reduced. Further, there is a problem that the abrasive grain ratio cannot be sufficiently increased.

ある。The present invention is intended to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks. A web is formed from 100% of water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol fiber, and the web is temporarily fixed by spraying a polyvinyl alcohol resin solution to form a non-woven fabric. An adhesive is applied to the fiber surface, and a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol resin powder and an abrasive mixture are filled and fixed by spraying. Then, the water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol resin powder is swelled and dissolved by spraying water, and a wet state is obtained. None, the problem was solved by winding in a roll and drying and heating.

Then, wind it in a spiral shape and tighten it to a rough outer diameter of 350 mm and a density of 0.5 g / cm 3 . Next, the spiral roll is cured in a dry heat treatment furnace at a temperature of 150 ° C. to complete the heat treatment.

るものである。The present invention uses a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol resin powder in a wet state as a binder for abrasive grains as described above, so that it can be dried and hardened when it is wound around a roll like a conventional polyvinyl alcohol resin / abrasive slurry liquid. It can be completed in a short time without requiring a long time, and the production efficiency can be greatly increased. Also, by mixing and dispersing the abrasive grains and polyvinyl alcohol resin powder, the ratio of the abrasive grains contained in the grindstone is increased, and the polishing and grinding ability is improved. Has elasticity due to the use of
It has excellent effects such as preventing the occurrence of chipping and cracking.
