報に記載の装置や、光電管を複数個配置して紙の速度に
より糊ダムの移動位置の補正を行う、実開平4−944
33号公報に記載の装置などが考えられた。しかしなが
ら、前記特公昭60−58019号公報による装置にお
いては、糊の粘度の実績に基づくデータについても考慮
はなされているが、装置において糊の使用中、その粘度
は常に微妙に変化するものであり、現実的には、粘度に
関係する総てのデータを事前に取って、このデータに基
づきながら装置を制御することは極めて困難である。従
って、この公報の記載においても、粘度については、せ
いぜい三段階のデータについて記載してあるのみであっ
て、どのような粘度の場合であっても、糊ダムの移動位
置の補正で糊ロールの糊付けの両端位置と紙の両端位置
とを完全に対応させることはできない上に、この装置に
おける制御は更に複雑となってくる欠点があった。ま
た、前記実開平4−94433号公報による装置の場合
においても、糊ロールの周速度を数段階に分け、これに
対応させて、数段階に設けた光電管を作動させて糊ダム
の位置を決めるようにしているのみであって、どのよう
な周速度の場合であっても、糊ダムの移動位置の補正で
糊ロールの糊付けの両端位置と紙の両端位置とを完全に
対応させることはできず、また制御装置が更に複雑とな
ってくる欠点があった。
