鉢土を包囲結束するためのゴムバンド、ゴムテープ、ゴ
ムネットなどを製造したもので、苗木、大中木移植時の
植木の根に付着する鉢土の結束が非常に容易で、熟練を
要せずゴムの延伸応力により、移植運搬時の根に付着す
る鉢土の荷くずれ保持率が高い。しかも根に付着した鉢
土の包囲結束のためにゴム結束具が延伸された引っ張り
状態にあるため、土中にあってゴム自体が早期に崩壊せ
ずとも、土中で溶出する水溶性添加物が土中の水分で溶
け出し、多孔質状態になって、引っ張り耐力が低下して
開裂し、根に付着した鉢土の結束が解除される移植後の
根の活着性と発育を考慮できるので、そのまま土中に埋
設することができる。又、土中で溶出する水溶性添加物
に植木の必要とする栄養素を含む物質によりすることに
より、一層の移植後の根の活着性と発育を促進すること
を兼ねそなえることができる。したがって、移植の困難
性を解除できるだけでなく、根の活着率の向上を図るこ
とができる。
