Description of the Related Art Conventionally, during an emergency shutdown of an incinerator, an emergency exhaust gas release device is used to prevent hot gas or unburned gas from the incinerator from flowing into a boiler or an exhaust gas treatment device on the downstream side. It is common practice to discharge from the incinerator duct to the outside. As a conventional emergency exhaust gas escape device of this kind, an exhaust gas escape duct 3 branched from an exhaust duct 2 of an incinerator 1 as shown in FIG.
It is known that the unburned gas from the incinerator 1 is guided by switching the air-driven damper 4 into the inside and discharged to the outside.
However, in this case, there is a problem that dust adheres to the damper 4 and a reliable sealing function cannot be exhibited.

A device that drains the water in the sealed tank 5 and discharges the unburned gas of the incinerator 1 to the outside has been developed, thereby protecting the boiler 7 and the exhaust gas treatment device 8 on the downstream side of the incinerator 1. ing. However, in the case of this type, since there is no gas flow in the exhaust gas escape duct 3 during normal operation, dust naturally accumulates in the exhaust gas escape duct 3 and becomes clogged. There has been a problem that the gas cannot be released to the outside. In order to avoid this, there is also a problem that the cleaning operation of the exhaust gas escape duct 3 needs to be performed regularly and frequently regardless of the presence or absence of dust accumulation.

This is the same as the conventional emergency exhaust gas release device of this type, but the exhaust gas release duct has a rising duct portion having a slope equal to or greater than the repose angle of dust and a descending portion following the rising duct portion. And the air duct, the natural accumulation of dust in the exhaust gas escape duct and the obstruction of the passage due to the natural accumulation are prevented, and the exhaust gas escape duct is always kept in a clean state. In the figure, 1 is an incinerator, 3 is an exhaust gas release duct branched from the exhaust duct 2 of the incinerator 1, and 5 is a water sealing tank connected to the exhaust gas release duct 3. The other branch pipe of the exhaust duct 2 is connected to a boiler 7 and an exhaust gas treatment device 8 on the downstream side, and during normal operation, the clean gas subjected to the purification treatment is sucked by the blower 9 from the stack 10. Discharging is the same as in the prior art (see FIG. 4).

During operation, even when there is almost no gas flow in the exhaust gas escape duct 3, dust naturally falls along the inclined surfaces of the ascending duct portion 3a and the descending duct portion 3b. It is configured such that it does not naturally accumulate in the exhaust gas escape duct 3.
The angle of repose of the dust may be set to 40 degrees or more in a general incinerator.

In this case, for example, the pressure fluctuation of the pressure detector 11 is detected by the sensor 11a, and the output of the sensor 11a is measured by the occlusion detector 12,
It may be configured to determine that there is no blockage when pressure fluctuation is detected, and that blockage is detected when pressure fluctuation is not detected anymore.

る。[0010] In the apparatus constructed as described above, the furnace pressure control damper is fully closed and the water in the water seal tank 5 is drained in the emergency to remove the water from the incinerator 1 similarly to the conventional emergency exhaust gas escape system. By discharging the unburned gas to the outside through the exhaust gas escape duct 3, the boiler and the exhaust gas treatment device on the downstream side are protected, but the exhaust gas escape duct 3 is larger than the repose angle of dust. The exhaust duct 3a is composed of the ascending duct 3a and the descending duct 3b following the ascending duct 3a.
The natural accumulation of dust in the inside and the obstruction of the passage due to the natural accumulation are surely prevented. Therefore, the inside of the exhaust gas discharge duct 3 is always kept clean, and the discharge of unburned gas and the like in an emergency can be accurately performed over a long period of time. Exhaust gas escape duct 3
The duct has a blockage detection mechanism at the end of the duct to detect the blockage of the duct, so even if the dust adheres and solidifies easily and blocks the duct easily, it can always accurately grasp the blockage of the duct. As a result, it is not necessary to perform regular and frequent cleaning work in a dark cloud regardless of the presence or absence of dust accumulation as in the related art, and excellent workability can be exhibited.
