の長さは約10mで、幅寸は約2m位であり、その片側
に幅寸に対して500mmぐらいの階段足場3が全長にわ
たり設けられている。この階段足場3は、図2で明らか
なように、平板を階段状に取付けた構成であり、作業員
は階段を登り降りする要領で階段足場3の上を歩行し、
屋根の勾配方向に安全に機敏に行動し、屋根葺作業を進
めることができる。
