[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the conventional bellows configured as described above, a short cylindrical opening, that is, an annular protrusion is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical mounting portion. Therefore, when the bellows is mounted, the annular projection on the inner peripheral surface of the bellows hinders insertion of the short cylindrical opening, and the workability is very poor. In order to improve the workability, the height of the projecting portion of the annular projection may be reduced. However, the sealing performance of the mounting portion of the bellows is reduced, and the functionality is impaired.

That is, reference numeral 8 denotes a boot mounting portion (large diameter side) of the constant velocity joint 7, and the bellows 1 is mounted by inserting the tubular mounting portion 3 thereof. The inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical mounting portion 3 has no projecting portion and has a substantially smooth surface. Further, since the annular cut portion 6 is easily opened, along the outer peripheral surface of the boot mounting portion 8. It can be inserted smoothly. Next, when the flat belt 9 is wound around the concave portion 4 of the cylindrical mounting portion 3 and tightened, the entire surface of the cylindrical mounting portion 3 is uniformly tightened, and the annular protrusion 5 is compressed in the inner circumferential surface direction. Since it is pushed out into the annular notch 6 on the peripheral surface side, both the uniform tightening action by the flat belt 9 and the sealing action by the so-called O-link effect by pushing out the annular protrusion 5 into the annular notch 6 are combined. Thus, a high sealing property is maintained. Therefore, the hermeticity inside the bellows 1 is perfect.
