直列に接続し、着磁電源18を介して電流を印加し第8図
に示すように磁界を発生させて消去ヘッドの磁石部14に
着磁を行っていた。着磁後の磁石部14の表面状態を第6
図(a),(b)に示す。第6図(a)は磁極の状態を
示し、この従来例ではテープ走行方向に沿ってN極→S
極の組み合わせにしている。その磁界の強度は同図
(b)に示すように方向にN極成分19が発生し、方
向にはS極成分20が発生する状態になる。又、前記N極
19、S極20の前後には各々反転磁界部ρ21、η22が誘起
され発生した構成で製品化されている。

に磁界強度比B/Aは0.1を境にして急激に下降し、同図斜
線部で示す良品範囲から大きく外れた不良となり、品質
面で不安定要素を含んだ内容のものとなっていた。ま
た、この構成では、条件を変化させても磁界強度比B/A
は高々0.4程度で飽和状態となり、それ以上のものには
できなかった。

けた一体品で、各磁極部を構成する目的で各磁極部には
主着磁コイル4,5および補助着磁コイル6を設け、この
各着磁コイル4〜6を直列に接続し着磁電源7より電流
を印加し着磁を行うように構成されている。着磁後の磁
石部2の表面状態を第2図(a),(b)で示す。同図
(a)は磁極の状態を示し、テープ走行方向に沿ってN
極→S極の組み合わせの主磁極部にしている。その磁界
の強度は同図(b)に示すように方向にN極成分8が
発生し、方向にはS極成分9が発生する状態になる。
又、前記N極成分8、S極9の前後には各々反転磁界部
ρ10、η11が誘起され発生している。

れがテープ走行方向の最終極テープ出口側側面にも集束
し、第8図で示す従来例の着磁装置の磁束の流れ及び集
束とは大いに異なるものである。結果として消去特性を
見ると、第2図で示す磁極部の最大磁界強度A′と反転
磁界部の最大磁界強度B′との比率を磁界強度比として
B′/A′で示した時、その比率は0.4〜0.7程度になり、
着磁装置に印加する電流を変動させても磁界強度比の前
記0.4〜0.7の範囲内で安定することを確認した。これに
より第5図で示すごとく磁界強度比B′/A′に対する録
音・発生レベルは十分に余裕を持って安定させることが
可能となり、容易な手段で大きな成果の得られる貢献度
