For example, the uneven shape of the contact edge 8a of the contact piece 8 may be determined so as to conform to the outer peripheral surface shape of various packaged articles. In addition, the number of the contact pieces 8 to be formed, the place where the contact pieces 8 are formed, the height dimension of the contact pieces 8 and the like may be arbitrarily determined according to the size, weight, strength characteristics, and the like of the packaged article. In addition, in each of the above-described embodiments, since the compressor 300 is made tough, the contact pieces 8 are formed only on the left and right side surfaces 2 and 3 of the rectangular tube, but depending on the property of the packaged article, the contact piece 8 may also be formed on the bottom surface 1. A similar contact piece 8 may be formed upright. The sheets 100 and 101 serving as the material of the packing tools 200 and 201 are not limited to corrugated cardboard, and a sheet material of a material most suitable for the properties of the packed article and the transportation method may be selected and used.

As is apparent from the above description, the folding type packing device of the present invention, which packs substantially cylindrical packing articles by winding them one by one, is a conventional corrugated board, pulp or pulp. Compared with those using a molded packing made of polystyrene foam or the like in combination, the present invention provides various practically excellent effects as listed below. (A) A fold line, a break line, or the like is provided at a plurality of predetermined places,
Since it is composed of only one sheet, it can be provided at a much lower cost than conventional ones. (B) Since bulky packing is not attached and can be spread on one sheet, storage and transportation costs can be significantly reduced. (C) The contact piece enhances the cushioning performance and structural strength of the packing tool. (D) Unlike the case of using a molded packing made of styrene foam, there is no problem of disposal. (E) A packing tool that performs an optimum packing function for various packing articles having different strength characteristics, etc., simply by appropriately changing the shape, arrangement, number, etc. of the contact pieces provided on the sheet. Can be easily created.
