In this method, as shown in FIG. 5, the upper mold 3 and the lower mold 4 are closed with the glass 1 interposed therebetween, and a hollow shape formed so as to surround the peripheral edge of the glass 1 at that time. The synthetic resin material 6 is injected into the resin filling portion 5 and molded to form a synthetic resin frame 2 around the periphery of the glass 1. Thereafter, the upper mold 3 and the lower mold 4 are vertically moved. Opening is to take out (release) the glass 1 in which the edge frame 2 is integrally formed at the periphery.

In FIG. 5, reference numerals 7 and 8 denote opposing surfaces of the upper die 3 and the lower die 4, respectively. When they are closed, the projections 11 and 12 are arranged so as to be in close contact with the upper and lower surfaces slightly inside the outer peripheral edge of the glass 1, and are continuous with the outside of each projection 11 and 12, and the upper mold 3 and the lower mold 4 are formed so as to form a hollow resin-filled portion 5 when closed with each other.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention According to the conventional module molding method as described above, when the glass 1 is a tempered glass, it can be carried out without any trouble. However, as shown in FIG. ,
When a laminated glass having a three-layer structure in which a synthetic resin material layer 17 is formed between two glass plates 15 and 16 or a non-reinforced plate glass is used, the slight difference between the upper mold 3 and the lower mold 4 Due to dimensional errors or local changes in the thickness of the glass 1, the upper mold 3

Therefore, the corners 11 of the convex portions 11 and 12 of the upper die 3 and the lower die 4
If the a and 12a are chamfered into a curved surface such as an arc, the above-described breakage or cracking of the glass 1 can be prevented, but in such a case, the boundary between the glass 1 and the edge frame 2 is unclear. And other problems such as uneven appearance and poor appearance.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the glass edge frame forming method of the present invention closes the upper mold and the lower mold with the glass interposed therebetween, at which time the peripheral portion of the glass is In a method for forming an edge frame made of synthetic resin on the periphery of glass by injecting and molding a synthetic resin material into a hollow resin-filled portion formed so as to surround the glass, an upper mold is provided. And, when the upper and lower molds are closed to each other, the corners of the convexities that are in close contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the glass are continuous with the inside of the groove forming the resin-filled portion on the opposing surface of the lower mold. A protuberance whose chamfering is on a curved surface and whose protruding amount at the tip is slightly smaller than the protruding amount at the tip of the protruding portion at a portion facing the upper or lower surface of the glass in at least one of the upper and lower grooves. Forming part and combining with resin filling part After injecting and molding the resin material, and releasing the mold, cutting off a portion inside the concave line formed on the side surface of the edge frame by the raised portion from the edge frame formed on the peripheral portion of the glass. When the upper mold and the lower mold are closed with the glass in between, the convex portions formed on the opposing surfaces of the upper mold and the lower mold are in close contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the glass, and the glass is The part is supported so as to be located at the regular position of the resin filling part.

At this time, since the corners of each convex portion are chamfered in a curved shape, even if the portions hit against the surface of the glass,
The risk of glass breakage or cracking is low.

Also, since the amount of protrusion at the tip of the protruding part is smaller than the amount of protrusion at the tip of the protruding part, when the glass is sandwiched between the upper mold and the lower mold, the tip of the protruding part must come into contact with the surface of the glass. Therefore, even if the tip of the ridge is pointed, the glass does not abut on the ridge and is not broken or cracked.

Moreover, after the mold release, by cutting off the portion inside the concave streak from the edge frame formed on the peripheral edge of the glass along the concave portion formed by the raised portion, the boundary portion between the glass and the edge frame is reduced. It becomes clear and the appearance is improved.

First, with the upper mold 3 opened upward with respect to the lower mold 4,
For example, a glass 1 made of laminated glass having a three-layer structure in which a synthetic resin material layer 7 is formed between two glass plates 15 and 16 similar to that shown in FIG. It is placed at a predetermined fixed position (the positioning means is not shown) so as to be in close contact.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the raised portion 20 in the concave groove portion 14 of the lower mold 4 is moved from the edge frame 2 formed on the peripheral portion of the glass 1.
Thereby, the cut portion 2a inside the concave streak 21 formed on one side surface of the edge frame 2 is cut.

In order to cut off the cutout portion 2a from the edge frame 2, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, one side surface such as a cutter knife 22 or a rotary blade (not shown) rotatably supported by the tip of a support rod is recessed. A cut is made by moving along the outer side surface of the ridge 21 and moving the tip of the blade to reach the surface of the glass 1, and thereafter or simultaneously, between the surface of the glass 1 and the cutout 2a. Then, it is preferable that the cut-off portion 2a is peeled off from the glass 1 in the manner of deburring by inserting a single-edged stripping tool 23 and moving it along the surface of the glass 1.

Advantageous Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above, according to the present invention, the corners of the protrusions on each of the opposing surfaces of the upper mold and the lower mold that are in close contact with the glass are chamfered in a curved shape to prevent breakage and cracking of the glass. It is possible to prevent the boundary between the glass and the edge from being blurred by chamfering the convex portion by cutting off a part of the edge frame that forms such a blurred boundary after the edge frame is formed. And a clear and beautiful appearance at the boundary can be provided.

An upper mold and a lower mold are closed with glass therebetween, and a synthetic resin material is injected into a hollow resin-filled portion formed so as to surround the periphery of the glass at that time. In the glass edge frame forming method of forming an edge frame made of synthetic resin on the peripheral edge portion of the glass, the upper and lower molds are continuously formed inside the concave grooves forming the resin-filled portions on the opposing surfaces. And, when the upper mold and the lower mold are closed, the corners of the convex portions that are in close contact with the upper surface and the lower surface of the glass are chamfered in a curved shape, and the concave groove portion of at least one of the upper mold and the lower mold. In the portion facing the upper or lower surface of the glass in the above, to form a raised portion with the amount of protrusion of the tip slightly smaller than the amount of protrusion of the tip of the convex portion, inject and mold a synthetic resin material into the resin filling portion, and After demolding, molded on the periphery of the glass Edge frame forming method of the glass, characterized in that the frame, to ablate inner portion than convex formed on the side surface of the edge frame by said ridges.
