Description: TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a magnetic disk device including a rotating magnetic disk plate and a magnetic head having an air bearing portion. [Problems of Prior Art] Conventionally, a magnetic film has been manufactured by coating a magnetic material on the magnetic film. However, in order to increase the recording density, the magnetic film has recently been manufactured with a plating or a spatter. A magnetic disk plate made of a metal plate or a sputter has a major disadvantage that moisture in the air is condensed between the air bearing portion and the magnetic disk plate during non-operation, and the magnetic head and the magnetic disk plate are easily adsorbed. Also, as the recording density increases, medium noise from the magnetic film cannot be ignored. [Object of the Invention] The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks, and even in the case of a magnetic disk plate made of a metal plate or a sputter, the magnetic head-magnetic disk plate equivalent to the coating type magnetic disk plate can be adsorbed without using a special adsorption preventing device. It is an object of the present invention to provide a magnetic disk device having a propensity. It is another object of the present invention to provide a magnetic disk device which has low medium noise and is suitable for high-density recording. [Summary of the Invention] According to the present invention, there is provided a magnetic disk plate having a surface roughness of 0.02 μm or less by sputtering or plating, and a magnetic head having an air bearing portion arranged to face the magnetic disk plate. By making the surface roughness of the entire surface of the air bearing portion of the magnetic head larger than the surface roughness of the magnetic disk plate, it is possible to prevent the magnetic disk plate and the magnetic head from attracting. . It is known that the attraction between the magnetic head and the magnetic disk plate has a negative correlation with the surface roughness of the two opposing surfaces.
For example, when comparing the adsorption phenomena between a coated disk plate, a magnetic disk plate with a plating or a sputter, and a glass disk and a tapered flat magnetic head, it hardly occurs in the coated disk plate, but occurs very often in the glass disk. It is known that a magnetic disk plate made of a metal plate or a sputter causes a relatively large adsorption phenomenon, though not as much as a glass disk. The surface roughness of the above disk is
Rmax = 0.1μm with a sprocket or Rmax = 0.02 ~
0.04 μm, and Rmax = 0.002 μm for a glass disk. On the other hand, the surface roughness of the air bearing portion of the magnetic head is almost the same as that of a glass disk. It can be seen from the above example that the adsorption phenomenon has a negative correlation with the surface roughness of the two opposing surfaces. It can be said that the reason why the adsorption phenomenon is likely to occur on the magnetic disk plate due to plating or spattering is that the surface roughness of the magnetic disk plate has improved. Further, as the recording density of the magnetic disk becomes higher, the medium noise of the magnetic disk cannot be ignored. That is, if the surface roughness of the plate cannot be ignored with respect to the recording wavelength, it appears as noise in the calling signal. In order to maintain the signal S / N ratio above a certain level,
The higher the recording density and the shorter the recording wavelength, the better the surface roughness of the magnetic disk plate. However, this has a problem that the above-mentioned magnetic head attraction phenomenon is easily caused. The present invention reverses the conventional relationship between the surface roughness of the air bearing portion of the magnetic head and the magnetic disk plate (the surface roughness of the air bearing portion is small), so that the surface roughness of the entire air bearing portion is changed to the surface of the magnetic disk plate. By making the roughness larger than the roughness, the magnetic disk head and the magnetic head are prevented from being attracted to each other. [Effect of the Invention] According to the present invention, even in a magnetic disk device using a magnetic disk plate formed by plating or sputtering, a magnetic head-magnetic disk plate can be used without using a special adsorption prevention device for keeping the inside of the magnetic disk device dry. The adsorption phenomenon between the two can be effectively reduced. Also, S / S due to medium noise caused by high density recording
A magnetic disk device suitable for high-density recording can be provided while suppressing a decrease in the N ratio. FIG. 1 shows a magnetic disk device according to the present invention. 1 is a magnetic disk plate and 2 is a tapered flat type magnetic head. The magnetic disk of No. 1 is a magnetic disk for a medium to be used (surface roughness Rmax.apprxeq.0.02 .mu.m), and the surface roughness of the air bearing surface of the magnetic head of No. 2 is about Rmax = 0.1 .mu.m. In FIG. 2, the entire surface of the air bearing portion (including both the tapered portion and the flat portion) having a surface roughness Rmax ≒ 0.1 μm is indicated by oblique lines. Of course, the surface roughness of the bearing
The surface roughness of the entire surface of the bearing portion is not limited to 0.1 μm, and may be 0.04 μm or more if Rmax = 0.02 to 0.04 μm as in the plating medium magnetic disk plate described above.
