2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIG.
The thermal spray wire 1 (hereinafter referred to as a wire) is fed to the distal end by a wire feed roller 3 rotated by a motor 2 through a wire conduit 4 and a wire nozzle 5 so as to cross-contact at the distal end. At this time, an energizing terminal 6 for applying AC or DC is provided in a part of the wire conduit so that the wire 1 can be energized through the conduit 4 or the nozzle 5. The wire 1 is cross-contacted at the tip and heated and melted by arc heat.
Performs atomization and formation of a thermal spray coating by compressed air from a circular air nozzle 7 located between two wire nozzles 5.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The above arc spray gun has the following disadvantages. That is, (1) the atomized wire adheres to the tip of the wire nozzle at the time of thermal spraying, and a spark is generated between the two wire nozzles. In addition, wire feeding failure due to fusion of the wire at the tip of the wire nozzle was not small.

(2) As a result of the above wire feeding failure, soft wires such as zinc and aluminum buckle between the wire feeding roller and the gun tip side conduit, and as a result, the two wires come in contact with each other and spark or Burning of the spray gun by ignition often also resulted.

(3) Further, since there is only one energizing terminal, smooth thermal spraying work could not be performed due to the occurrence of poor melting of the wire due to poor current conduction to the wire.

(4) Moreover, since the atomization of the molten metal is performed by compressed air guided by a circular air nozzle between the two wire nozzles, the sprayed shape is not constant, and it is easy to diffuse, so that it is difficult to use for spraying small objects. The adhesion rate was also low.

The present invention relates to damage to a wire nozzle caused by the atomization of the melted and atomized wire at the tip of the wire nozzle during wire spraying work, poor wire feed, and burnout of the spray gun secondary to the poor feed. Another object of the present invention is to improve the workability by preventing a decrease in the spraying workability such as interruption of the spraying work due to poor energization, and to improve the sprayed shape.

Action The wire melted and atomized by the above (1) is prevented from adhering between the nozzle tips and causing sparks. Also, according to (2), the two wires are prevented from contacting each other even when the wires are buckled. Further, the sprayed shape is narrowed down by (3), so that the adhesion rate of the sprayed metal is improved, and the spraying on small items becomes easy.
