Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、一切がハンドピース本体内に収められる歯
科用のエアタービンハンドピースのロータを制動しまた
停止するための装置に関するものである。
従来の技術 従来、内部に羽根を有したロータを備え、この羽根に
加圧空気を噴出させて、ロータの回転軸に取り付けた切
削バーを高速回転する歯科用のエアタービン式ハンドピ
ースは公知であるが先行技術においては、歯科用のバー
が障害物に出会うと、始動速度は低下し、またはずみ車
を欠く関係でロータのトルクも減少する傾向を呈し、結
局歯科用のバーの切削効率を悪くする。
出願人は、上記した従来のものの欠点を回避するため
に、はずみ車を有する歯科用エアタービンハンドピース
のロータを提供している。
発明が解決しようとする課題 上記したロータを用いた歯科用のエアタービンハンド
ピースによれば、万一ロータが、その回転を拘束する障
害物に出合った場合でも、トルクが減少することなく、
歯科用バーの切削効率を高く維持することができるが、
治療中の丁度具合の悪い時に患者が動いたりすると、患
部を傷つけかねない惧れがある。
課題を解決するための手段 そこで、本発明は、これらの欠点から免れることがで
きるように、機構部によってロータのはずみ車に押し当
てられるブレーキ片を有し、ブレーキ片の静止状態にお
いてブレーキ片はロータのはずみ車に固く当たり、これ
を不動に保ち、機構部がブレーキ片を引っ込ませた時に
ロータを解放することを特徴とするものである。
作用 しかして静止時にはこのロータを動かさないようにす
るブレーキ片がはずみ車に永続的にもたれる。ハンドピ
ース本体中に収められブレーキ片をささえる機構部が働
くと、ロータは解放されその回転が可能になる。停止状
態にもどる場合には、機構部がブレーキ片をはずみ車の
方に押しもどしてロータを停止させる。
実施例 以下添加図面について本発明を説明する。
添加図面の第１図は、ロータを動けない位置にした時
の本発明に基づく装置の側面図である。
同じく第２図は、ロータを自由に回転できる位置とし
た時の本発明に基づく装置の側面図である。
図において、（１）はロータで羽根車を含む、（２）
ははずみ車、（３）はブレーキ片、（４）はこのブレー
キ片（３）を作動する機構部である。
しかして、第１図に掲げたように、機構部（４）によ
ってブレーキ片（３）が中央位置にあるはずみ車（２）
に当たってロータの回転がブレーキ片（３）により抑止
される。
また第２図に掲げたように、機構部（４）の作動によ
ってブレーキ片（３）が引っ込むと、ロータがブレーキ
片（３）から解放されて、いつでも回転できる状況とな
る。
発明の効果 本発明の装置は特に実際に歯科治療を進めるにあた
り、臨床歯科医がエアタービンハンドピースを利用する
時、患者に傷害を負わせる危険性を少なくするのに有効
である。
【図面の簡単な説明】
図面は本願の実施例を示すもので、第１図はロータを動
けない位置にしたときの状態を示す側面図、第２図はロ
ータを自由に回転できる位置にした状態の側面図であ
る。 図中、（１）はロータ、（２）ははずみ車、（３）はブ
レーキ片、（４）は機構部である。

  1. 【請求項１】機構部によってロータのはずみ車に押し当
    てられるブレーキ片を有し、ブレーキ片の静止状態にお
    いてブレーキ片はロータのはずみ車に固く当たり、これ
    を不動に保ち、機構部がブレーキ片を引っ込ませた時に
    ロータを解放することを特徴とする歯科用のエアタービ
    ンハンドピースにおけるロータのはずみ車に対して作用
    する断続制動装置。
