に亀裂が入り易いという欠点がある。この亀裂に溶融ス
ラグが入り込むと、短期間に損傷してしまう。更に亀裂
発生により迫り出し或は脱落の危険性もある。従来の出
滓口堰レンガでは、耐用寿命が短く、そのため厄介な一
括取替作業をしばしば強いられるのである。

る曲げモーメントや該出滓口堰レンガ内外の温度差によ
る熱応力が中央の低位部レンガに働き難くなるため、該
低位部レンガに亀裂が入ることもない。本考案の出滓口
堰レンガは、これらが相まって、耐用寿命が長いのであ
る。
