2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, floor cleaning machines have generally been commercialized for the purpose of labor saving of floor cleaning work in buildings and factories. This type of floor cleaning device is equipped with a cleaning tool such as a rotating brush for polishing the floor surface and a squeegee for performing a vacuum operation,
The floor is automatically cleaned while the entire apparatus runs. FIG. 3 is a perspective sectional view showing the configuration of such a floor cleaning machine, which is roughly divided into a traveling unit, a cleaning unit, a power supply unit, and the like. The traveling unit travels with two front wheels 55 and two rear wheels 56 disposed at a lower portion of the vehicle body, and a cleaning unit is disposed on a truck at a lower portion of the vehicle body, and a rotating brush 51 that rotates in contact with a floor surface, It is composed of a fresh water tank 52 for storing a cleaning liquid, a squeegee 53 for sucking dust and dirty water after cleaning, and a sewage tank 54 for storing dust and dirty water sucked from the squeegee 53. The power supply unit supplies a power source for rotating the cleaning rotary brush 51, a driving power source for a blow pump 57 for sucking dirty water into the dirty water tank 54 by the squeegee 53, and the like. The above-mentioned floor cleaning machine performs a cleaning operation as follows. That is, the cleaning liquid contained in the fresh water tank 52 is sprinkled on the floor surface, and the rotating brush 51 provided at the lower part of the vehicle body rotates and grinds the floor surface.
Is sucked by a squeegee 53 disposed at the rear of the tank and collected in a sewage tank 54. In the upper part of the sewage tank 54, a drain hole 59 bent in an inverted U-shape of a sewage pipe 58 for absorbing sewage from the squeegee 53, and an intake pipe 60 connected to a blow pump 57 for depressurizing the tank and sucking sewage. Are opened. However, if sewage flows into the blow pump 57 through the suction pipe 61 through the suction pipe 60, it may cause a failure of the blow pump, so that the water level 62 on the sewage surface should not be higher than the suction hole 61, Need to be prevented from flowing into the intake pipe 60. As a method for this, conventionally, a float switch 63 is disposed at a predetermined height position in the tank, and when the sewage level reaches the predetermined height, the float switch 63 is operated, whereby the blow switch is operated. Some pumps were stopped to suppress the rise of the sewage level.
When the float switch 63 fails, a float valve 68 is provided in the suction port 61 of the blow pump in combination with the float switch, and when the water level reaches the height of the float valve, the float valve operates. In this case, the air outlet is closed to suppress the rise of the sewage level. However, the above method has a problem that the float valve opens and closes the air intake and exhaust ports frequently each time the sewage level goes up and down, which causes an excessive load to be applied to the decompression pump each time. Was.

With the above construction, in the floor cleaning apparatus according to the present invention, when the sewage level of the sewage tank reaches a predetermined height, the gate valve is opened to the fresh water tank side. The sewage is drained to the fresh water tank side, and when the sewage level of the sewage tank does not reach a predetermined height, the gate valve is closed so that the water level of the sewage in the sewage tank exceeds a predetermined height. You can not.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a floor cleaning machine according to the present invention; FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of a floor cleaning machine according to the present invention, in which a traveling unit travels by two front wheels 5 and rear wheels 6 disposed at a lower portion of a vehicle body.
A rotating brush 1 disposed on a bogie below a vehicle body and rotating in contact with a floor surface, a fresh water tank 2 for storing a cleaning liquid, a squeegee 3 for sucking dust and dirty water after cleaning, and the squeegee 3
And a sewage tank 4 for storing dust and sewage sucked from the tank. In the upper part of the sewage tank 4 of the floor cleaning machine,
A drain hole 9 for sewage 8 for absorbing sewage on the floor surface 14 from the squeegee 3 serving as a sewage suction port, and an intake pipe 10 connected to a blow pump 7 for depressurizing the tank and sucking sewage.
Is opened. A float switch 13 is provided at a predetermined height position in the sewage tank, and a gate valve 15 is provided near the lower portion of the intake hole of the intake pipe in combination with the float switch method.

Next, the operation of the floor cleaning device will be described with reference to the cross-sectional view of the main part of FIG. In the embodiment of FIG. 2, a drain port 39 of a pipe 38 for sucking sewage from the squeegee 33 and an intake port connected to a blow pump 37 for reducing the pressure in the tank are provided at the upper part of the sewage tank 34 of the floor cleaning machine. 41 is open. A partition valve 45 and a through hole 47 are provided in a partition wall 46 between the sewage tank 34 and the fresh water tank 32. When the water level 42 of the sewage surface is lower than the height of the sluice valve 45, the sewage tank 34 is blown by the blow pump 37. Since the pressure on the side is reduced and the pressure becomes lower than that on the fresh water tank 32 side, the gate valve 45 is pressed against the partition wall 46 side, and
7 closes. Thereby, the pressure reduction in the sewage tank by the blow pump 37 is promoted, the suction of the sewage into the tank is promoted, and the water level 42 on the sewage level rises. Eventually,
When the water level of the sewage surface exceeds the height of the gate valve 45, as shown in FIG.
5 is opened to the fresh water tank 2 side, whereby sewage flows out to the fresh water tank side through the through hole 17 and the water level of the sewage tank drops. Since the positions of the through hole 17 and the gate valve 15 are near the lower portion of the suction hole of the pressure reducing pipe, the water level 12 on the sewage surface does not reach the suction hole 14 and the sewage flows into the blow pump 7. Never.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the floor cleaning device of the present invention, the gate valve is disposed on the partition wall between the sewage tank and the fresh water tank. Sewage does not flow into the tank through the opening of the blow pump, so that an excessive load is not applied to the decompression pump and the life of the tank can be extended.
