BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for producing an absorbent for disposable products such as disposable diapers and disposable pants.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an absorbent body in which an absorbent mat and thin paper constituting the absorbent body are firmly joined, and an absorbent body obtained by the method.

2. Description of the Related Art For example, disposable pants are composed of a water-impermeable sheet, an absorbent and a water-permeable sheet as basic members, and the absorbent is prepared by mixing a highly absorbent resin, a fibrous substance such as pulverized pulp, or the like. It is formed in the shape of. By the way, in the case where the absorbent is composed of only the fibrous material having no binding property, the absorbent and the impermeable sheet (or the water-permeable sheet) are used.
When the adhesive is adhered, the adhesive only adheres to the protruding fibers on the surface of the absorber, but the two members cannot be firmly joined to each other, and the absorber peels off from the sheet and does not use urine. . Therefore, the outer periphery of an absorbent mat formed by mixing the above fibrous materials or the like and keeping a predetermined shape is covered with tissue paper, and the absorbent mat and the tissue paper are completely bonded.

[0003] A hot melt adhesive is used to bond the absorbent mat and the tissue paper, and an adhesive discharge nozzle is used.
The adhesive is applied in a spiral or bead form on a continuous thin paper sheet, and an absorbing mat is laminated thereon to join the two members. However, the absorbent mat has only short fibers that have low binding properties accumulated, and the surface of the absorbent mat has an uneven shape with protruding short fibers. However, the two members could not be firmly joined only by the adhesion of the adhesive to the fibers protruding from the fibers. Therefore, when the absorbent mat is completed as a disposable product, the absorbent mat is easily peeled off from the tissue paper adhered to the water-impermeable sheet, and the absorbent mat often causes displacement when worn.

Further, in order to strongly bond the absorbent mat and the thin paper, a large amount of hot melt adhesive of about 5 to 15 g / m 2 is required, which is uneconomical, and the absorbent itself becomes hard and the feeling of use is low. There was also a problem.

FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory view showing a typical embodiment of the production method of the present invention. The strip-shaped continuous thin paper 1a travels in the direction of arrow A (from right to left in the figure) and first passes under the discharge nozzle 12 (the right one in the figure) for discharging the hot melt adhesive 3, and the thin paper 1a Hot melt adhesive 3 is applied on top. Next, the absorption mat 2 is formed by the pattern drum 11 arranged in the middle of the traveling, and the absorption mat 2 is placed on the thin paper 1a coated with the adhesive.
Further, the hot melt adhesive is also applied to the upper surface of the absorption mat 2 by the discharge nozzle 12 (the one on the left side in the figure). Then, another thin paper 1b is stacked on the absorption mat 2 via the guide roll 4, and thereafter, is introduced into the heating furnace 13 and subjected to heat treatment.

The hot-melt adhesive has a melting point of 70
It is preferable to use one having a temperature of about 90 ° C., and a styrene hot melt adhesive such as ethylene-vinyl acetate, SIS or SBS can be used. The heating furnace 1
It is desirable to use a hot-air passage type for 3.
As shown in (1), the hot air blown from the hot air blowing device 13a passes through the absorption mat 2 so that the hot melt adhesive melted by the hot air penetrates deeper between the fibers by wind pressure, so that stronger bonding can be achieved. Becomes possible. Further, if guides 14 are provided for sandwiching the absorbent mat 2 and the thin papers 1a, 1b from above and below, the molten hot melt adhesive will penetrate deep into the fibers due to the pressing force.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a method for supplying a hot melt adhesive according to the method of the present invention. A plurality of discharge ports are arranged in a lower part of the discharge nozzle 12, and the hot melt adhesive 3a
Is discharged in a screen form from the discharge port. Compressed air is sprayed over both sides of the screen-like hot melt adhesive 3a as shown by white arrows P and P, and the compressed air flow causes the adhesive 3a.
Are stretched in the discharge direction and reduced in diameter, and are also spread flat due to left and right air pressures. As a result, the adhesive is formed into a thin fibrous form. The compressed air flow collides with the upper surface of the thin paper 1a, and forms a turbulent air flow in the vicinity thereof, and the adhesive 3a is branched at the end thereof to be further finely divided and entangled in a complicated manner to form an irregular shape. Is applied to the upper surface of the thin paper 1a. This hot-melt adhesive as spreads flat in thin paper 1a upper surface becomes fine fibrous, absorbent mat by the discharge amount of adhesive in the discharge nozzle 12 become the least sufficient, in combination the heat treatment 2 and tissue paper 1
a and 1b can be joined with sufficient strength. By employing the method of the present invention, the absorbent mat 2 and the thin papers 1a and 1b can be firmly joined with a hot melt adhesive amount of 0.3 to 5 g / m 2 .

As described above, the present invention is constructed as described above, and the absorbent mat and the tissue paper are firmly joined to constitute the absorbent body. Therefore, the finished disposable product has high shape retention, It no longer causes displacement of the absorber. Further, the amount of the hot melt adhesive used for the above-mentioned joining can be drastically reduced as compared with the conventional case.
