2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when performing welding on a plurality of locations on a work, the work is carried into a welding station provided with a welding jig and a welding robot, and most of the plurality of welding locations on the work are subjected to the above-described welding treatment. It is possible to perform welding with a plurality of welding guns provided on the welding tool, and to weld with a welding gun provided in a welding robot having a high degree of freedom of movement for a welding portion that is difficult to weld with each welding gun of the welding filth. Generally done well.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As described above, when the electrodes of the welding guns provided in each of the welding jig and the welding robot provided in the welding station are polished, the welding on the welding robot side is performed. The electrode of the gun can be moved to an automatic electrode shaping machine by the movement of a welding robot having a large degree of freedom for polishing. However, in the electrodes of the plurality of welding guns on the welding jig side, the welding guns are usually fixed in the welding work area of the welding jig, and the degree of freedom of movement is extremely small. Unlike a welding robot, it cannot be moved to the automatic electrode shaping machine and polished, and the operator must take the electrode to the automatic electrode shaping machine and polish. For this reason, there has been a problem that it takes a long time to polish the electrodes of the respective welding guns on the welding jig side, and the electrode polishing work is troublesome.

The present invention has been made in view of the foregoing, and has as its object to polish the electrodes of a welding gun provided in each of a welding jig and a welding robot provided in a welding station, as described above. In this case, by effectively utilizing the movement of the welding robot having a large degree of freedom
The operator can grind the electrode of the welding gun on the welding jig side, which has a very small degree of freedom, without leaving the operator with the automatic electrode shaping machine, while staying there. The purpose of the present invention is to polish the electrodes of the welding gun in a short time and to easily perform the electrode polishing operation.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, a solution of the present invention is to provide a welding jig for welding a work carried into a welding station and a welding jig provided for each of a welding robot. As a method of polishing the welding electrode of the welding gun on the welding jig side of the gun, when polishing the electrode of the welding gun on the welding jig side, the welding robot has an electrode grinder instead of the welding gun on the welding robot. Then, the electrode of the welding gun on the welding jig side is polished by the electrode polishing machine.

(Operation) According to the above configuration, in the method of the present invention, the welding gun on the welding jig side among the welding guns provided in each of the welding jig and the welding robot for welding the work carried into the welding station. When polishing the welding electrode of
The welding robot is provided with an electrode polisher instead of the welding gun, and the electrode of the welding gun on the welding jig is polished by the electrode polisher. From this, the electrode of the welding gun on each of the above welding jigs, which has a very small degree of freedom of movement, is polished while the worker is there without having to bring it to the automatic electrode shaping machine. The electrode polishing work of the welding gun on the welding jig side can be shortened and simplified.
