As shown in the figure, the heater core is such that the upper tank 1 and the lower tank 2 are connected by a plurality of tubes 3, fins 4 are arranged between the tubes 3, and the fins 4 and the side plate 5 sandwiching the tubes 3 are strip-shaped. It is held by the pressure resistant band 6 of the heater core. Since the vehicle engine cooling water is circulated in the tube 3, the pressure inside the tube 3 changes with the engine speed, and therefore the pressure band 6 for the band-shaped heater core improves the pressure resistance of the heater core. .

Reference numeral 7 denotes an air mix damper that distributes the cool air that has passed through the evaporator 18 to a warm air passage 8 and a cold air passage 9 that are guided to the heater core 19. The cool and warm air is mixed in the air mix chamber 10 and is blown to a predetermined outlet. . This figure shows the defroster outlet 11 and the vent outlet 12
Furthermore, defroster damper 1 which opens and closes each outlet
3 shows the vent damper 14. Reference numeral 15 is a heat outlet, which is generally used for heating in winter. (Damper is not shown) Generally, the mode in winter used in the air conditioner for automobiles is the heat mode in which the heat blower outlet 15 that blows to the feet and the defroster blower outlet 11 that blows fog on the windshield are opened. At this time, the defroster outlet
The temperature of the air blown from 11 needs to be lower than the temperature of the wind blown from the heat blowout port 15 blown from the feet because the blowout port is close to the occupant's face. However, in the structure shown in FIG. 2, the hot air 16 blown from the heater core 19 is pushed up by the cold air 17 passing through the cold air passage 9, and the cold air 17 tends to flow to the defroster air outlet 11 and the heat air outlet 15. 6a is a pressure-proof band of the heater core, which is installed downstream of the flow of the hot air 16 and has a substantially V shape. As shown in FIG. 1, the upper tank 1 and the lower tank 2 are connected by a plurality of tubes 3 to form a tube 3 The fins 4 are arranged in between, and the space between the fins 4 and the side plate 5 between which the tube 3 is sandwiched is held. As described above, the pressure-resistant band 6a of the heater core supports the engine cooling pressure applied to the tube 3 as described above, and as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, divides the hot air 16 into the left and right directions and the cold air 17 upwards. Since the cold air 17 can be guided to the defroster outlet 11 of FIG. 2 and the hot air 16 can be introduced to the heat outlet 15, the heat outlet in the heat mode in which the aforementioned outlet temperature is required in winter mode is required. The blowout temperature of the defroster blowout port 11 can be made lower than that of 15, and air conditioning can be realized without making passengers feel uncomfortable.

An improvement in the degree of mixing can be provided.
