窓枠1と同じ曲率で湾曲した複層の窓ガラスを嵌込んで
湾曲した窓を構成するようになっており、そしてガラス
開口部2に開口部調整装置を取付けて開口部の幅を調整
することによりシングルガラス3を取付けることができ
るようになっている。この開口部調整装置は図2に示す
ように連結部材6と調整用アタッチメント9とからな
り、連結部材6は、窓枠1の横枠4と調整用アタッチメ
ント9とを連結するもので、軟質合成樹脂、ゴム等の弾
性変形可能な材質より構成され、図2に示すように、一
側部には横枠係止部7がまた他側部にはアタッチメント
係止部8が夫々長手方向に沿って形成されている。横枠
係止部7は、横枠4のガラス開口部2側の上端部に長手
方向に沿って形成されているビード溝5に小口から挿入
して嵌合係止することができるように、ビード溝5の断
面形状と略同一の断面形状に形成されている。そしてア
タッチメント係止部8は後記の調整用アタッチメント9
の一側に設けた取付溝10に側方より押圧して変形させ
て取付溝10内に嵌合させた後弾性復帰させて係止する
ように、取付溝10の高さと略同一の高さで、先端部を
丸く突出させた断面きのこ状の形状に形成されている。
なおこのアタッチメント係止部の形状については種々考
えられるが、例えば図3に示すように断面円形にしたも
の、または図4に示すように矢じり状に形成して先端が
取付溝10に挿入し易くし、弾性復帰後は確実に取付溝
10の開口縁に係止できるように形成したものが望まし
い。調整用アタッチメント9は、アルミ等の金属の押出
型材よりなり横枠4と同じ曲率で湾曲しており、その内
側には図2に示すように連結部材6のアタッチメント係
止部8を嵌合係止する取付溝10が、また外側にはガラ
ス取付用のビード溝11が夫々長手方向に沿って設けら
れている。
