直進時に後方となるに位置に下向きに固設され、その底
面が旋回方向両側に沿って延びる隆起部分に形成される
と共に該隆起部分の旋回方向中途位置に受部が形成され
た掛止ガイド部と、 該掛止ガイド部の底面で上記受部の旋回方向両側に形成
されて受部へ接近するに従って漸次下降する傾斜面から
なって受部へ連なるガイド面と、 支持ヨーク内に嵌込まれて支持ヨーク間に横架された枢
軸に枢着されると共にキャスタの直進時に後方を向く方
向で車輪上に延び、上向きに枢動した際に上記ガイド面
と衝合して受部突入方向に付勢され受部と整合した位置
で該受部に突入する係合突部を有し先端が操作ペダルと
なる作動体と、 作動体の枢軸より後方で支持ヨークに前後に摺動可能に
取付けられたロック軸と、上記枢軸とロック軸の間に介
設されて接近方向に付勢されたバネ材と、上記作動体に
形成されてロック軸を変位させると共に上下の位置でそ
れぞれロック軸を拘束するカム面とからなっていること
を特徴とするキャスタ。
