される渦巻ポンプでは、渦流室内において羽根車が、そ

内に固形物が詰まり易いという欠点を有している。その
ため汚水中で使用される渦巻ポンプにおいては、羽根板
下縁を吸込カバー盤面上から大きく離隔させた構造とす
ることで、固形物が詰まることを防止しているが、この
構造はポンプ性能を犠牲にすることになるので、清水中
で使用するポンプには不適当である。 【0004】 【考案が解決しようとする課題】従来のポンプケーシン
グでは渦流室の軸方向寸法が不変の構造に作られている
ため、羽根車巾が変更されると、それに合わせてポンプ
ケーシングも、渦流室の軸方向寸法が異なるものを新作

水用に設計されたものを清水用に適したように変更した

シングに定着することにより渦流室の軸方向寸法が増大
せられ、また、吸込カバーの他面を羽根板下縁に対向さ
せてポンプケーシングに定着することにより渦流室の軸
方向寸法が短縮されるよう構成した。 【0007】 【実施例】以下実施例の図面により説明をする。 【0008】1は下面オープン型のポンプケーシング、

せた場合には渦流室7の軸方向寸法は長くなり、また、
図4のように吸込カバー4の他面4bを羽根板下縁2e
に対向させた場合には渦流室7の軸方向寸法は短くな
る。これらいずれかの状態により、取付ボルト8‥‥8
をボルト挿通孔9‥‥9からネジ孔10‥‥10へ螺着
して、吸込カバー4をポンプケーシング1の周壁下縁へ
着脱自在に定着させるのである。 【0009】そして図3の実施例においては羽根車巾の
大きな渦巻ポンプに適したポンプケーシングが構成せら
れ、図4の実施例においては羽根車巾の小さな渦巻ポン

ンプ性能を低下することなく清水中での使用に適した態

流室7内に固形物を詰まらせることなく汚水中での使用
