2. Description of the Related Art A trolley wire of a railway is supported through insulators between a column and the trolley wire. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, two support mechanisms connecting a porcelain insulator 6 and a steel pipe 7 are attached to the column 5, and a trolley wire 8 is hung at the tip of the steel pipe 7. The two support mechanisms are structured so that the force for suspending the trolley wire 8 is increased. The ground wire 9 is attached to the body of the porcelain insulator 6 in a ring shape while leaving one or two shades of the porcelain insulator 6 on the side of the pole 5. Attention has been paid to prevent short-circuit currents from flowing to passengers at stations and the like. Recently, there has been a tendency to use a composite insulator 1 as shown in FIG. 4 for reasons such as light weight, low cost, and difficulty in breaking. The composite insulator 1 has a tension member 12 made of FRP at the center. A cap 13 made of a polymer material is attached to the tension member 12 by molding, bonding, or the like, and the terminal fitting 2 is fixed to both ends thereof by compression, bonding, or another method.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention] However, if a ground wire is attached to the composite insulator by the conventional method, the cap material of the composite insulator is a soft polymer material, and the cap material is worn by friction with the ground wire. And the composite insulator deteriorates electrically and mechanically.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides an insulator which solves the above-mentioned problems, and comprises a tension member.
At both ends of the insulator, a cap made of a polymer material is connected to the tension member .
Extensible intermediate fitting of the conductive attaching the ground wire

At the tension member site , a conductive intermediate attachment for attaching the ground wire is provided so that the tension member penetrates ,
When the ground wire is attached thereto, the ground wire does not come into contact with the cap made of a polymer material, so that deterioration of the insulator due to wear of the cap material can be prevented.

As described above, according to the present invention, in an insulator in which terminal fittings are attached to both ends and a cap made of a polymer material is connected, a conductive wire for attaching a ground wire between both terminal fittings is provided. Since the intermediate attachment is provided, there is an excellent effect that wear of the shade by the ground wire is prevented, and a reliable, lightweight and inexpensive insulator can be obtained.
