2. Description of the Related Art For example, in a multi-story parking device such as a vertical circulation type parking device, entry of a vehicle is performed by passing the vehicle from outside through an entrance / exit port and on a parking pallet arriving inside the entrance / exit port. But by properly controlling the vehicle,
In order to enter the vehicle at a predetermined position on the parking pallet without contacting or colliding with a structure or the like, the vehicle center line should be substantially aligned with the center line passing through the entrance of the parking pallet near the entrance / exit opening. That is, it is necessary to guide the vehicle so as not to be deviated or laterally shifted with respect to the parking pallet, and then to advance the vehicle straight and guide the vehicle onto the parking pallet via the entrance. In this specification, the “vehicle center line” refers to an imaginary line extending in the front-rear direction passing through the center positions of the front wheel portion and the rear wheel portion of the vehicle.
