れた下塗り塗膜02上に、第一回目の中塗りまたは上吹付
け塗装(以下、第一回目塗装と称する。第二回目につい
ては、第二回目塗装と称する。)終えた後、第一回目塗
装による塗膜03の表面中の溶剤が蒸散するに必要な2〜
4分程度のフラッシュタイムFTをおいているため、第一
回目塗膜03の表面に第二回目塗装を行なうウェット・オ
ン・ウェットで吹付け塗装をおこなっても、第二回目塗
装を行なう際には、既に第一回目塗装の塗膜03の表面が
乾燥硬化(第1図(b))してしまい。第二回目塗装に
よる塗料中の溶剤が塗膜03に浸透する速度が小さく、塗
膜03の表面凹凸形状の影響が、乾燥硬化が進行する第二
回目塗装の塗膜04に及び、塗膜04の表面粗さを改善する
ことができず(第1図(c))、塗膜の鮮映性、平滑

ュー16の回転によって上下動し、ギア18,軸20の回転に

状に応じて吹付ガン24を常時車体30の表面から定距離に
位置させ、車体30の表面に対して直角方向から塗料を噴
