In particular, in order to stabilize the welding strength at a high level, a projection 4 is provided on the bottom surface of the electric contact 1 as shown in FIG. 3, and heat generation is concentrated during welding with the base material 2 to perform resistance welding, so-called projection welding electric contactor. In the manufacturing method of (1), since the central portion of the electrical contact 1 melts in a heat distribution centering on the center and melts, a spherical recess 5 may remain on the surface of the electrical contact 1 as shown in FIG. The contact of the electric contactor 3 provided with such an electric contact 1 was unstable during use.

At the time of welding, the heat is dissipated by the circular holes and is not concentrated in the center of the welding position but is dispersed on both sides. Therefore, the central portion of the electrical contact does not melt, and a spherical depression does not occur on the surface of the electrical contact. Also, the welding strength is high and stable.

る。The diameter of the circular hole of the base material is preferably about 1/5 to 1/2 of the width of the electrical contact. If it is less than 1/5, there is no heat dissipation effect of the circular hole and the heat generated by welding is dispersed on both sides. If it exceeds 1/2, the welding strength cannot be made high and stable.

As shown in Fig. A, a circular hole 6 having a diameter of 1.5 mm is formed 3 mm from the tip of a base material 2 made of brass having a thickness of 0.8 mm, a width of 5.0 mm and a length of 15 mm.
At the position where the circular hole 6 of the base material 2 is at the center, as shown in FIG. 1b, width 3 mm, length 3 mm, thickness 0.8 mm, width 0.2 mm at center of bottom, length An electrical contact 1 made of Pd-Ru 10 wt% having a projection 4 of 3 mm and a height of 0.1 mm,
The electric contact 3 was obtained by projection welding as shown in FIG.

いることが判る。 As is clear from the above table, the conventional electrical contactor had 100 spherical dents on the surface of the electrical contact, whereas the electrical contactor of the embodiment had such a configuration. It can be seen that the welding strength of the electric contact is as high as that of the electric contact of the conventional example and has little variation and is stable.

Therefore, there is an excellent effect that a spherical recess does not occur on the surface of the electric contact and the electric contact has a high welding strength and a stable electric contact can be obtained.
