の切削機として縦型開放タイプの加工装置が知られてい
る。そしてこのタイプの切削機では、通常ワ−クの上方
に配置されるカッタヘッドをNCデ−タ等に基づいて加
工送りする等によってワーク上面を形状加工してゆく。
一方、開放タイプの切削機では加工によって発生する切
屑等がワ−ク周辺部に堆積したり、或いは周囲に飛散し
たりする等によって作業環境の悪化、環境衛生の低下を
招く等の不具合があることから、例えば特開平2−10
9663号のように加工部を箱体で囲って切屑等の飛散
防止を図ったような装置も知られている。

台5を備え、ワ−ク載置台5は後述するようにワ−ク固
着手段を備えるとともに、紙面垂直方向の回転軸6回り
に反転自在とされている。そしてこの凹部空間2の前後
に搬入コンベア8と搬出コンベア9の端部を臨ませて搬
路を形成している。そしてストック場10の発泡ブロッ
クWを搬入コンベア8に移載し、ワ−ク載置台5まで搬
送されると固着手段によって固着して反転させ、加工が
終えると再びワ−ク載置台5を反転させて搬出コンベア
9に払い出す。尚、かかる搬入コンベア8、搬出コンベ
ア9はベルト式、ローラ式或いはその他の方式のコンベ
アを含むものである。

尚、カッタヘッド17の下方には加工駆動用の駆動モ−
タ18を設けている。

る。尚、以上のようなワ−ク固着手段は、発泡ブロック
のような軽量ワ−クの場合、両面接着テ−プを用いるこ
とも可能であるし、更には剣山方式によってワ−ク載置
台に設けた針を発泡ブロックWに突き刺すようにしても
良い。又、かかるワ−ク載置台5が床面1と平行になっ
た時、凹部空間2の上部開口を上から覆い、凹部空間2
を密閉するようにしている。つまり凹部空間2内で加工
時に生ずる切屑を外部空間に漏洩させないためであり、
作業環境の美化或いは作業員の衛生面等の点から効果が
ある。尚、この密閉は、発泡ブロックW自体を活用する
ようにしてもよく、この場合はワ−ク載置台5を枠体等
によって構成することが出来る。又、以上のようなワ−
ク載置台は図4に示すような片持式ヒンジタイプの載置
台24とし、ヒンジ25まわりに反転させるよう構成し
てもよい。
