Description

The present invention relates to a fabric made by weaving warp and weft threads.

A kasuri fabric has been disclosed in which all or part of the warp threads are dyed with kasuri threads that are dyed in stripes only in the kasuri pattern, and the color of the stripes in the kasuri pattern part of the warp threads is different from the color of the weft threads (see Patent Document 1). This kasuri fabric uses threads dyed in stripes to make kasuri threads, and by using these kasuri threads only for the warp threads, the kasuri pattern of the kasuri fabric is further kasuri-like within, making it possible to express the kasuri pattern with a soft feel, and by changing the color, width, spacing, number of stripes, etc. of the stripes, it is possible to add variety to the expression.

Utility Model Registration No. 3084300

The ikat pattern of the ikat fabric disclosed in Patent Document 1 is not visible in three dimensions, and is unable to simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern in which different patterns overlap, or a variety of independent patterns. When viewed in a plane, the ikat pattern of the ikat fabric is not concealed, and when viewed from a specified angle, the ikat pattern does not change, making it impossible to express the concealment or exposure of the pattern or the change in the pattern depending on the viewing angle. The vividness of the ikat pattern is not emphasized, and it is unable to express a pattern with a three-dimensional effect or depth.

The object of the present invention is to provide a woven fabric capable of simultaneously expressing a visually appealing composite pattern portion in which different patterns are overlapped, and various independent pattern portions. Another object of the present invention is to provide a woven fabric capable of expressing the concealment or exposure of a pattern and the change in the pattern depending on the viewing angle. Another object of the present invention is to provide a woven fabric capable of emphasizing the vividness of the color of the pattern, and of expressing a three-dimensional effect and depth effect in the pattern.

The premise of the present invention to solve the above problem is a woven fabric made by weaving warp and weft threads.

The feature of the present invention based on the above premise is that a predetermined first pattern is printed on the warp threads using a stencil, a predetermined second pattern different from the first pattern is printed on the weft threads using a stencil, the fabric is made by weaving the warp threads printed with the first pattern and the weft threads printed with the second pattern so that the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap, and the fabric has a composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap, and an independent pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap.

In one example of the present invention, a first pattern appears on one side of the warp thread and the other side opposite the first side, a second pattern is printed on one side of the weft thread and the other side opposite the first side, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are identical and have a mirror image relationship with each other, and in the woven fabric, a composite pattern portion is formed in which the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the second pattern appearing on the mirror image weft thread face each other and the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap.

In another example of the present invention, a first pattern appears on one side of the warp thread and the other side opposite the first side, a second pattern is printed on one side of the weft thread and the other side opposite the first side, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are the same pattern and are rotationally symmetrical to each other, and in the woven fabric, a composite pattern portion is formed in which the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the second pattern appearing on the rotationally symmetric weft thread face each other and the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap.

In another example of the present invention, a first pattern appears on one side of the warp thread and the other side opposite the first side, a second pattern is printed on one side of the weft thread and also on the other side opposite the first side, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are different patterns, and in the woven fabric, a composite pattern portion is formed in which the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the second pattern appearing on the weft thread face each other and the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap.

In another example of the present invention, a first pattern and a second pattern having a different aspect from the first pattern partially overlap and partially do not overlap, creating contrast between the composite pattern portion and the independent pattern portion that are visible in the fabric, and when the fabric is viewed in a plane, the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap and the independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns are visually recognized in three dimensions.

In another example of the present invention, the first pattern and the second pattern are dyed with chromatic colors, and the colors of the first pattern and the second pattern are complementary colors.

In another example of the present invention, when the woven fabric is viewed in plan from one side, in the composite pattern portion where the first and second patterns overlap, the colors of the first and second patterns mix to become achromatic, and the first pattern is concealed by the second pattern, and when one side of the woven fabric is viewed at a predetermined angle, in the composite pattern portion where the first and second patterns overlap, the colors of the first and second patterns do not mix, and the first pattern is visible through the second pattern.

As another example of the present invention, when the woven fabric is viewed in plan from one side or when one side of the woven fabric is viewed at a specified angle, in the independent pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap, the vividness of the colors of the first pattern and the second pattern is emphasized by the complementary color contrast between the colors of the first pattern and the second pattern, and a three-dimensional effect and depth are created in the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap.

The woven fabric according to the present invention is produced by weaving together warp threads printed with a first pattern and weft threads printed with a second pattern so that the first pattern and the second pattern, which is different from the first pattern, partially overlap, and a composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap, and an independent pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap are formed. Therefore, compared to a case where the pattern printed on the warp threads and the pattern printed on the weft threads are the same, it is possible to express a composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern different from the first pattern in the woven fabric, and it is also possible to express independent pattern portions of the first pattern and the second pattern in the woven fabric, so that a visually appealing composite pattern portion where different patterns overlap and visually appealing independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns can be simultaneously expressed. By adopting a first pattern with various designs and a second pattern with various designs different from the first pattern, the woven fabric can express various composite pattern parts where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, and various independent pattern parts of the first and second patterns, and can express attractive composite pattern parts and independent pattern parts that attract the attention of the viewer.

A woven fabric in which a first pattern appears on one side and the other side of a warp thread, a second pattern is printed on one side and the other side of a weft thread, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are the same pattern and are mirror images of each other, and the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the second pattern appearing on the mirror image-symmetric weft thread face each other to form a composite pattern portion in which the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap, can express in the woven fabric a composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern which are mirror images of each other, and independent pattern portions of the first pattern and the second pattern, and can simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern portion in which different patterns overlap, and visually appealing independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns. By adopting a first pattern with various designs and a second pattern with various designs that are mirror images of the first pattern, the fabric can express various composite pattern parts where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, and various independent pattern parts of the first and second patterns, and can express attractive composite pattern parts and independent pattern parts that attract the attention of the viewer.

A woven fabric in which a first pattern appears on one side and the other side of a warp thread, a second pattern is printed on one side and the other side of a weft thread, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are the same pattern and have a rotational symmetry relationship with each other, and a composite pattern portion is formed in which the first pattern and the second pattern partially overlap while the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the rotationally symmetric second pattern appearing on the weft thread face each other, can express in the woven fabric a composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern which have a rotational symmetry relationship with each other, and independent pattern portions of the first pattern and the second pattern, and can simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern portion in which different patterns overlap, and visually appealing independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns. By adopting a first pattern with various designs and a second pattern with various designs that are rotationally symmetrical different from the first pattern, the woven fabric can express various composite pattern parts where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, and various independent pattern parts of the first and second patterns, and can express attractive composite pattern parts and independent pattern parts that attract the attention of the viewer.

A woven fabric in which a first pattern appears on one side and the other side of a warp thread, a second pattern is printed on one side and the other side of a weft thread, the second pattern printed on one side of the weft thread and the second pattern printed on the other side of the weft thread are different patterns, and the first pattern appearing on the warp thread and the second pattern appearing on the weft thread face each other to form a composite pattern portion in which the first pattern and the second pattern appearing on the weft thread partially overlap can express a composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern that is a different pattern printed on one side and the other side, and independent pattern portions of the first pattern and the second pattern, and can simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern portion in which different patterns overlap, and visually appealing independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns.

The first pattern and the second pattern, which is different from the first pattern, partially overlap and partially do not overlap, creating a contrast between the composite pattern portion and the independent pattern portion that appears on the fabric, and when the fabric is viewed in a plane, the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap and the independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns are visually perceived three-dimensionally. This creates a contrast between the composite pattern portion and the independent pattern portion that appears on the fabric, and creates a depth effect between the composite pattern portion and the independent pattern portion, so that the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap can be expressed three-dimensionally, and the independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns can be expressed three-dimensionally.

In a woven fabric in which the first and second patterns are dyed with chromatic colors and the colors of the first and second patterns are complementary to each other, the first and second patterns are dyed with various chromatic colors, so that composite pattern parts of various colors consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern different from the first pattern can be expressed on the woven fabric, and independent pattern parts of various colors of the first and second patterns can be expressed on the woven fabric, and a composite pattern part of vivid chromatic colors that is attractive to see where different patterns overlap, and an independent pattern part of vivid chromatic colors that is attractive to see where the first and second patterns overlap can be expressed in three dimensions. By adopting a first pattern of various colors and patterns and a second pattern of various colors and patterns different from the first pattern, the woven fabric can express various composite pattern parts of vivid chromatic colors where the first and second patterns overlap, and various independent pattern parts of vivid chromatic colors of the first and second patterns, and can express an attractive composite pattern part and an independent pattern part that attracts the viewer.

When the woven fabric is viewed in plan from one side, in the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern mix to become achromatic, and the first pattern is concealed by the second pattern, and when one side of the woven fabric is viewed at a predetermined angle, in the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern do not mix, and the first pattern is visible through the second pattern. Since the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern, which are complementary to each other, are mixed to produce an achromatic color, when the fabric is viewed in plan from one side, the first pattern is concealed by the second pattern, allowing the second pattern to be mainly seen, and an independent pattern portion mainly consisting of the second pattern can be expressed, and when one side of the fabric is viewed at a specified angle, the colors of the first pattern and the second pattern do not mix, allowing a composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern to be expressed. Depending on the angle from which the fabric is viewed, the second pattern is mainly visible, or the composite pattern portion consisting of the first pattern and the second pattern can be seen, making it possible to express changes in the pattern depending on the viewing angle.

When the woven fabric is viewed in a plane from one side or when one side of the woven fabric is viewed at a specified angle, in the independent pattern parts where the first and second patterns do not overlap, the vividness of the colors of the first and second patterns is emphasized by the complementary color contrast between the colors of the first and second patterns, and in the composite pattern parts where the first and second patterns overlap, the fabric that creates a three-dimensional effect and depth is able to present an independent pattern part of vivid chromatic colors that is attractive to see, which is made up of the first pattern, and an independent pattern part of vivid chromatic colors that is attractive to see, which is made up of the second pattern. The woven fabric has a three-dimensional effect and depth in the composite pattern area where the first and second patterns overlap, so the independent pattern area where the first and second patterns overlap can be expressed three-dimensionally.

FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the weft threads 12 forming the woven fabric 10 after the printing process, and FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing another example of the weft threads 12 forming the woven fabric 10 after the printing process. FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing another example of the weft threads 12 forming the woven fabric 10 after the printing process, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing an example of the printed weft threads 12. In FIGS. 1, 3, 4, and 5, the longitudinal direction is indicated by an arrow X, and the width direction is indicated by an arrow Y.

A woven fabric 10 (for example, Chichibu meisen) is made by weaving together warp threads 11 and weft threads 12. For the warp threads 11 and weft threads 12, for example, 145-175 denier threads are used, which are made by soft-twisting raw silk (silk threads) that may or may not have been pretreated (refined, bleached, then dyed). In addition to raw silk (natural fiber threads), the warp threads 11 and weft threads 12 can also be made of cotton threads (natural fiber threads) spun from cotton, or chemical fiber threads made from chemical fibers. For chemical fiber threads, synthetic fiber threads made from synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon (polyamide), acrylic, and polyurethane, semi-synthetic fiber threads made from semi-synthetic fibers chemically processed from natural polymeric substances, and regenerated fiber threads such as rayon and cupra spun from natural polymeric compounds that have been dissolved as raw materials.

The manufacturing process of the woven fabric 10 includes the warping process, winding process, temporary weaving process, unraveling printing process (stencil dyeing process), rewinding process, and weaving process (weaving process). In the warping process, the number, length, and density of the warp threads 11 (white warp threads) required are determined, and then the warp threads 11 are wound around a drum with an even length and average tension using a warping machine. The warp threads 11 are wound around the drum smoothly and without gaps with an average tension. In the winding process, the warp threads 11 wound around the drum in the warping process are wound around a box. The box is attached to a winding roller attached to the end of the warping machine. In the temporary weaving process, the weft threads 12 are woven diagonally around the warp threads 11 at intervals of several centimeters using a temporary weaving machine so that the warp threads 11 can maintain the correct spacing between each other in the width direction and are not misaligned by the width of a roll.

A predetermined first pattern A is printed on the warp threads 11 by a loosening and printing process (stencil dyeing process). A predetermined second pattern B and a second pattern C, which are different in appearance (pattern) from the first pattern A, are printed on the weft threads 12 by a loosening and printing process. There are no particular limitations on the first pattern A, the second pattern B, and the second pattern C, and any pattern design can be used.

The first pattern A, second pattern B, and second pattern C are dyed with chromatic colors including achromatic colors. The colors of the first pattern A, second pattern B, and second pattern C are in a complementary color relationship. Examples of complementary colors include combinations of yellow and blue-purple, yellow-green and purple, green and red-purple, blue-green and red, greenish blue and yellowish orange, and blue and reddish orange. These complementary color combinations include same-tone color schemes, similar-tone color schemes, and contrasting-tone color schemes.

In the process of unraveling and printing the warp threads 11, the roughly woven white warp threads 11 that have been through the warp preparation and winding processes are spread out on a printing table (not shown), and as shown in Figure 1, a square frame 14 containing a stencil 13 (silkscreen stencil) is placed on one roll (approximately 15 m) of warp threads 11. As the stencil 13 is moved, it is brushed with a brush containing dye (dilution dye) to dye the fabric in layers of color. Several types of stencils 13 are placed on the warp threads 11 in order, and the colors are layered repeatedly.

The first pattern A is printed in a state where multiple patterns are arranged at equal intervals along the length of the warp threads 11. In unraveling printing, the dye is not applied to the fabric but to the threads themselves, so that the same first pattern A is dyed on the front surface 15 (one side) and back surface 16 (the other side) of the warp threads 11. In the unraveling printing process of the warp threads 11, the warp threads 11 are steamed in a special steaming box to fix the dye to the printed (dyed) warp threads 11. The steamed warp threads 11 are tumble dried. In the rewinding process, after the dye has stabilized, the warp threads 11 are rewound before the actual weaving.

In the weft 12 unraveling printing process, the front surface 18 (one side) and back surface 19 (the other side) of the weft 12 wound around a wooden weft board 17 are printed (dyed) with a second pattern B using a stencil (not shown). When printing the warp 11, the warp 11 is connected continuously in the length direction, so the patterns are matched at both ends of the stencil 13, but when printing the weft 12, the weft is printed in units of the weft board 17, so the patterns are matched with the weft board 17 and a small hole opened in the center of the end of the stencil.

In the process of unraveling and printing the weft thread 12, wooden boxes are lined up on the printing stand used for printing the warp thread 11 at intervals along the length of the weft thread 12, the weft thread 12 wound around a weft board 17 is placed on top of the wooden boxes, and the front surface 18 of the weft thread 12 is printed in succession starting with the first color. In printing the weft thread 12, multiple types of stencils are placed on the weft thread 12 in succession, and the colors are layered repeatedly. After printing the front surface 18 of the weft thread 12 is completed, the dye is checked to see if it is dry, and the weft board 17 is turned over. After the weft board 17 is turned over, the back surface 19 of the weft thread 12 is printed in succession starting with the first color.

As an example of the weft thread 12 after the printing process, as shown in Fig. 3, the second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 (one side) of the weft thread 12 and the second pattern B printed on the back surface 19 (other side) of the weft thread 12 are in a mirror symmetrical relationship with each other. As another example of the weft thread 12 after the printing process, as shown in Fig. 4, the second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 (one side) of the weft thread 12 and the second pattern B printed on the back surface 19 (other side) of the weft thread 12 are in a rotationally symmetrical relationship with each other. After the second pattern B is printed on the front and back surfaces 18, 19 of the weft thread 12, the weft board 17 around which the weft thread 12 is wound is collected. The second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 and the back surface 19 of the weft thread 12 are the same pattern. As another example of the weft yarn 12 after the printing process, as shown in FIG. 5, the surface 18 (one side) of the weft yarn 12 is printed with a second pattern B, and the back surface 19 (other side) of the weft yarn 12 is printed with a second pattern C. The second pattern B printed on the surface 18 of the weft yarn 12 and the second pattern C printed on the back surface 19 are different patterns. It is also possible that the second pattern C is printed on the surface 18 (one side) of the weft yarn 12, and the second pattern B is printed on the back surface 19 (other side) of the weft yarn 12.

The collected weft boards 17 are stacked, and in order to make it easier to match the warp threads 11 and weft threads 12 in the main weaving process, a different color is printed on the sides of the stacked weft threads 12. Next, the fasteners on both sides of the weft board 17 are removed, the weft board 17 is disassembled in half, and the weft board 17 is removed from the weft threads 12. After removing the weft boards 17, 8 or 9 sheets are stacked with newspaper sandwiched between the weft threads 12 that are still wrapped around the newspaper, and the weft threads 12 are loosely tied with string. After bundling multiple weft threads 12, the weft threads 12 are steamed in a special steaming box to fix the dye to the printed (dyed) weft threads 12, and the steamed weft threads 12 are dried.

Figure 7 is a perspective view showing an example of weaving warp threads 11 and weft threads 12 using a loom 20, and Figure 8 is a perspective view showing an example of a produced woven fabric 10. In Figure 8, a chromatically colored peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and a chromatically colored predetermined pattern (e.g., a floral pattern) pattern 22 (second pattern B) are printed. In the main weaving process (weaving process), a loom 20 is used to weave the warp threads 11 printed with the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern) and the weft threads 12 printed with the pattern 22 (second pattern B) to produce the woven fabric 10 (combined ikat) shown in Figure 8.

After the preparation of the warp threads 11 and weft threads 12 is completed, the weaving process moves to the weaving stage using a loom 20 (hand loom or automatic loom (power loom)). The preparations before weaving include loom installation, heald threading, reed threading, weaving, warp splicing, etc. In the loom 20, the warp threads 11 aligned to the weaving width are stretched on the loom base, and the weft threads 12 are crossed at right angles to them to create the woven fabric 10. The movements of the loom 20 are broadly divided into main movements, secondary movements, and auxiliary movements. The main movements include the opening movement, which spreads the warp threads 11 vertically so that the weft threads 12 can be inserted, the weft insertion movement, which passes the weft thread 12 between the opened warp threads 11, and the beating movement, which pushes the inserted weft thread 12 to the boundary between the warp threads 11 and the woven fabric 10 with a reed, and crosses the weft thread 12 with the warp threads 11. The secondary movements include a let-off movement that feeds the warp threads 11 as they are woven in the main movement, and a take-up movement that winds up the woven portion and continues weaving.

The fabric 10 produced through the main weaving process (main movement, secondary movement, auxiliary movement) is made by weaving together warp threads 11 printed with a peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and weft threads 12 printed with a pattern (e.g., floral pattern) pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) so that the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern (e.g., floral pattern) pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) partially overlap, as shown in Figure 8. The peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) is colored blue-green, greenish blue, or blue (chromatic color), and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) is colored red, yellowish orange, or reddish orange (chromatic color). The color of the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) are in a complementary color relationship. Note that the color of the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) do not have to be in a complementary color relationship.

In the fabric 10 of FIG. 8, a composite pattern portion 23 (mixed pattern portion) in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) partially overlap, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the flower pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) do not overlap and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) appears alone are formed. In addition, a composite pattern portion 23 (mixed pattern portion) in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) partially overlap, an independent pattern portion 24 in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) appears alone, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) appears alone may be formed. Also, a composite pattern portion 23 (mixed pattern portion) in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern of the design 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) partially overlap, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the flower pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) do not overlap and the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) appears alone may be formed.

The woven fabric 10 is made by weaving together warp threads 11 printed with a peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and weft threads 12 printed with a flower pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) so that the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern (e.g., flower) pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) of a different aspect (pattern) from the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) partially overlap. A composite pattern portion 23 where the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) partially overlap, and an independent pattern portion 24 where the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) do not overlap are formed. Compared to the case where the pattern printed on the thread 11 and the pattern printed on the weft thread 12 are the same, a composite pattern portion 23 consisting of a peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and a pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) with a different design from the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) can be expressed on the woven fabric 10, and an independent pattern portion 24 of the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the patterned pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) can be expressed on the woven fabric 10, so that a beautiful composite pattern portion 23 in which different patterns overlap and a beautiful independent pattern portion 24 of the peony flower pattern 21 (first pattern A) and the patterned pattern 22 (second pattern B, second pattern C) can be simultaneously expressed.

The woven fabric 10 employs a first pattern A of various configurations (patterns) and a second pattern B or a second pattern C of various configurations (patterns) different from the first pattern A, thereby enabling the expression of composite pattern portions 23 (mixed pattern portions) of various configurations (patterns) in which the first pattern A and the second pattern B or the second pattern C overlap, and various independent pattern portions 24 in which only the first pattern A and only the second pattern B or the second pattern C appear, thereby enabling the expression of attractive composite pattern portions 23 and independent pattern portions 24 that attract the attention of the viewer.

The fabric 10, in which the second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 (one side) of the weft thread 12 and the second pattern B printed on the back surface 19 (the other side) of the weft thread 12 are in a mirror image relationship with each other, can express in the fabric 10 a composite pattern portion 23 consisting of the first pattern A and the second pattern B which are in a mirror image relationship with each other, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the first pattern A and the second pattern B appear separately, and can simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern portion 23 in which different patterns are overlapped, and an attractive independent pattern portion 24 in which the first and second patterns A and B appear. The woven fabric 10 employs a first pattern A of various patterns, and a second pattern B of various patterns that are mirror-symmetrical to the first pattern A, thereby enabling the expression of a composite pattern portion 23 of various patterns (patterns) where the first pattern A and the second pattern B overlap, and an independent pattern portion 24 of various patterns (patterns) of the first and second patterns A and B, thereby enabling the expression of an attractive composite pattern portion 23 and an independent pattern portion 24 that attract the attention of the viewer.

The fabric 10, in which the second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 (one side) of the weft thread 12 and the second pattern B printed on the back surface 19 (the other side) of the weft thread 12 are in a rotationally symmetric relationship with each other, can express in the fabric 10 a composite pattern portion 23 consisting of the first pattern A and the second pattern B which are in a rotationally symmetric relationship with each other, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the first pattern A and the second pattern B appear separately, and can simultaneously express a visually appealing composite pattern portion 23 in which different patterns are overlapped, and an attractive independent pattern portion 24 in which the first and second patterns A and B appear. The woven fabric 10 employs a first pattern A of various patterns, and a second pattern B of various patterns that are rotationally symmetrical to the first pattern A, thereby enabling the expression of a composite pattern portion 23 of various patterns (patterns) where the first pattern A and the second pattern B overlap, and an independent pattern portion 24 of various patterns (patterns) of the first and second patterns A and B, thereby enabling the expression of an attractive composite pattern portion 23 and an independent pattern portion 24 that attract the attention of the viewer.

In the fabric 10 in which the second pattern B printed on the front surface 18 (one side) of the weft thread 12 and the second pattern C printed on the back surface 19 (the other side) of the weft thread 12 are different patterns, a composite pattern portion 23 consisting of the second pattern B and the second pattern C, which are different from the first pattern A, and an independent pattern portion 24 in which the first pattern A, the second pattern B, and the second pattern C appear separately can be expressed in the fabric 10, and the composite pattern portion 23, which has a good appearance in which different patterns are overlapped, and the independent pattern portion 24 in which the first and second patterns A, B, and C appear separately can be expressed simultaneously. The woven fabric 10 employs a first pattern A of various patterns, and employs second patterns B and C of various patterns (patterns) different from the first pattern A, thereby expressing a composite pattern portion 23 of various patterns (patterns) where the first pattern A overlaps with the second pattern B and the second pattern C, and an independent pattern portion 24 of various patterns (patterns) of the first and second patterns A, B, and C, and expressing an attractive composite pattern portion 23 and independent pattern portion 24 that attracts the viewer.

The woven fabric 10 has a first pattern A and a second pattern B and a second pattern C, which are different in appearance (pattern) from the first pattern A, which partially overlap and partially do not overlap, creating a contrast between the composite pattern portion 23 and the independent pattern portion 24 of the woven fabric 10, and creating a depth effect between the composite pattern portion 23 and the independent pattern portion 24. This allows the composite pattern portion 23, where the first pattern A and the second pattern B overlap, to be expressed three-dimensionally, and allows the independent pattern portions 24 of the first and second patterns A, B, and C to be expressed three-dimensionally.

Figure 9 is a perspective view showing another example of the produced textile 10, and Figure 10 is a perspective view of the textile 10 of Figure 9 when viewed at a specified angle. In Figures 9 and 10, a pattern 25 (first pattern A) of a kabuki actor colored with chromatic colors including achromatic colors and a pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) of a specified pattern colored with chromatic colors are printed. Figure 9 shows the state in which the surface 15, 18 (one side) of the textile 10 is viewed from directly above in a plane, and Figure 10 shows the state in which the surface 15, 18 (one side) of the textile 10 is viewed obliquely from an angle of about 45°. In the textile 10 of Figures 9 and 10, the color of the pattern 25 (first pattern A) of the kabuki actor and the color of the pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) are complementary colors. Furthermore, the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) do not have to be complementary colors.

Comparing the patterns shown in Figures 9 and 10, in Figure 8, which shows a plan view from directly above of the surfaces 15, 18 (one side) of the fabric 10, in the composite pattern portion 23 where the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap, the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) mix together to become achromatic, and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) conceals the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A), making it difficult to see the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A). In contrast, in FIG. 10, in which the surfaces 15, 18 (one side) of the fabric 10 are viewed obliquely at an angle of approximately 45°, in the composite pattern portion 23 where the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap, the colors of the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) do not mix, the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) is exposed from the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C), and the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) is visible through the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C), making the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) more clearly visible compared to FIG. 8.

In addition, in FIG. 9, which shows the surface 15, 18 (one side) of the woven fabric 10 viewed from directly above in a plane, or in FIG. 10, which shows the surface 15, 18 (one side) of the woven fabric 10 viewed obliquely at an angle of approximately 45°, in the independent pattern portion 24 where the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) do not overlap, the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) are emphasized by the complementary color contrast between the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C), and a three-dimensional effect and depth are expressed in the composite pattern portion 23 where the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap.

In the woven fabric 10, the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C), which are complementary colors, are mixed in the composite pattern portion 23 where the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap, resulting in an achromatic color. Therefore, when the surface 15, 18 (one side) of the woven fabric 10 is viewed from directly above in a plane, the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) conceals the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and mainly the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) can be visually recognized, and an independent pattern portion 24 consisting mainly of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) can be expressed, and when the surfaces 15, 18 (one side) of the woven fabric 10 are viewed obliquely at an angle of about 45°, the color of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) do not mix, and a composite pattern portion 23 consisting of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) can be expressed. Depending on the angle from which the woven fabric 10 is viewed, mainly the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) can be seen, or the composite pattern portion 23 consisting of the Kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) can be seen, so that a change in pattern depending on the viewing angle can be expressed.

In the woven fabric 10, in the independent pattern portion 24 where the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) do not overlap, the vividness of the color of the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) is emphasized by the complementary color contrast between the color of the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the color of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C), so that it is possible to present an independent pattern portion 24 of vivid, attractive chromatic colors (including achromatic colors) consisting of the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and to present an independent pattern portion 24 of vivid, attractive chromatic colors consisting of the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C). In the woven fabric 10, a three-dimensional effect and depth are created in the composite pattern portion 23 where the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap, so that the independent pattern portion 24 where the kabuki actor pattern 25 (first pattern A) and the pattern pattern 26 (second pattern B or second pattern C) overlap can be expressed three-dimensionally.

they face each other. The woven fabric according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the first pattern and the second pattern, which is different from the first pattern, partially overlap and partially do not overlap, creating contrast between the composite pattern portion and the independent pattern portion that are exposed on the woven fabric, and when the woven fabric is viewed in a plane, the composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap and the independent pattern portions of the first and second patterns are visually recognized three-dimensionally. The woven fabric according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the first pattern and the second pattern are dyed with chromatic colors, and the colors of the first pattern and the second pattern are complementary colors. the first pattern and the color of the second pattern are mixed to become achromatic, and the first pattern is concealed by the second pattern, and when the fabric is viewed from one side at a predetermined angle, in a composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap, the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern are not mixed, and the first pattern is visible through the second pattern. The fabric according to claim 6 or 7, in which, when the fabric is viewed in plan from one side or when the fabric is viewed from one side at a predetermined angle, in an independent pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern do not overlap, the vividness of the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern is emphasized by the complementary color contrast between the color of the first pattern and the color of the second pattern, and a three-dimensional effect and depth are created in a composite pattern portion where the first pattern and the second pattern overlap.
