The products displayed in a list and allowing the customer to select whether to eat in may be products registered in a device (a face-to-face POS terminal) that executes a registration process by a store clerk's operation and a payment process by a customer's operation. Also, the products displayed in a list and allowing the customer to select whether to eat in may be products registered when a device having multiple operating modes is operating as a face-to-face POS terminal. As already explained, the registration and payment device 30 may be such a device. The above describes the embodiments, including the modified examples, but the above embodiments are merely examples and the specific configurations are not limited to the above embodiments, and also include designs that do not deviate from the gist of the invention.

For example, in the product list screen with check boxes shown in FIG. 7(A), check boxes are added to products that can be eaten in, and products that cannot be eaten in are displayed without check boxes. In other words, in the above, when the "Yes" button is operated on the small screen 1410, products that do not require confirmation by check boxes (i.e., products for which there is no choice as to whether to eat in) are also displayed. In addition, in the above, an example was described in which, when the product includes a product that can be eaten in, the small screen 1410 shown in FIG. 6(B) is displayed, and after the "Yes" button is pressed to indicate that the product is to be eaten in, the product list screen with check boxes shown in FIG. 7(A) is displayed. However, when the product includes a product that can be eaten in, the screens of FIG. 6(A) and FIG. 6(B) may not be displayed, and the product list screen with check boxes shown in FIG. 7(A) may be displayed. In other words, in the above, an example was described in which, when the product includes a product that can be eaten in, a confirmation screen (small screen 1410) for confirming the intention to eat in as a whole product, not as an individual product, is displayed before displaying a selection screen (product list screen with check boxes shown in FIG. 7(A)) in which the product to be eaten in can be selected, but such a confirmation screen does not have to be displayed. The same applies when the display unit is vertically long (FIGS. 10 and 11). If the customer does not wish to eat in on the selection screen (if small screen 1410 were to be displayed, the customer would press the "No" button on small screen 1410 to indicate that they do not wish to eat in), they can simply press the Check Out button 1404 without checking any of the checkboxes.

Also, in the above example, food products that are suitable for eating in (e.g., nori bento, etc.) are considered to be products that may be eaten in, and food products that are not suitable for eating in (e.g., radish, etc.) are not considered to be products that may be eaten in. However, all food products may be considered to be products that may be eaten in. In other words, the eat-in target flag for all foods may be set to the value "1 (target product)."

In the above, an example was described in which all foods, regardless of whether they are products that can be eaten in, are registered with a uniform tax rate of 8%, and after registration is completed, the tax rate is changed to 10% for products selected on the list screen as products to be eaten in. In other words, in the above, a reduced tax rate of 8% is set as the initial setting (tax rate at the time of registration) when registering each product (food), and after the registration process is completed (i.e., all at once at the stage of the settlement process), the tax rate can be changed to the normal (reduced tax rate not applied) tax rate of 10% as appropriate for necessary products. However, other modes are also possible. For example, the tax rate for all foods may be 10% at the time of individual registration and can be changed to 8% after the registration process. In addition, for each food (or each type of food), there may be a tax rate of 8% at the time of individual registration and can be changed to 10% after the registration process, and a tax rate of 10% at the time of individual registration and can be changed to 8% after the registration process. The tax rate at the time of registration can be set to 8% or 10% for each product (or food type). In the above, an example was described in which the tax rate is operated at the checkout stage (for example, after reading the two-dimensional checkout code 605 in the case of registration with the mobile terminal 60, or after operating the checkout button 1304 in the case of registration with the registration and checkout device 30), but the tax rate may be operated at the registration stage in addition to the checkout stage. That is, when registering products, whether 8% or 10% is selected (specified) for some or all products is selected (specified), and after the registration process is completed (after reading the two-dimensional checkout code 605 and operating the checkout button 1304), the product list screen with check boxes shown in FIG. 7 or FIG. 11 may be displayed with the check boxes unchecked for products set at 8% and with the check boxes checked for products set at 10%. Although not explained above, when multiple items of the same product are registered, it is also possible to change the tax rate for all or part of the multiple items. As an example, when the number of registered "200ml orange juice" is 5, it may be possible to select (specify) the quantity to be eaten in after operating the check box for "200ml orange juice", or it may be possible to select (specify) the quantity to be eaten in without displaying the check box.

Although the above describes an example of changing to eat-in by checking a checkbox, the method of changing to eat-in is not limited to this. For example, the item may be scanned to change to eat-in. For example, after operating the "Yes" button in FIG. 6(B), the item to be changed to eat-in may be scanned by the scanner unit 406 to change to eat-in. Note that when changing two or more of the same item to eat-in, scanning may be performed a number of times according to the quantity, or the quantity may be entered after scanning. Also, for example, a cancellation declaration to cancel the change to eat-in may be accepted (for example, by arranging a cancel button, etc.), and the change to eat-in for that item may be canceled by scanning the item for which the change to eat-in is to be canceled after the cancellation declaration operation.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a technology that facilitates manipulation of tax rates applied to products.
[Means for solving the problem]
(1) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a settlement device which is one aspect of the present invention is a settlement device (e.g., settlement device 40, registered settlement device 30, etc.) which settles registered goods, and which includes a display means which displays that an instruction to change the tax rate for the registered goods can be accepted, and a change means (e.g., CPU 401 which executes the processing of step S22 in Figure 9) which changes the tax rate of the goods based on the change instruction.
According to the settlement device of (1) above, it is possible to suitably execute processing related to the tax rate applied to products. In other words, since the tax rate can be easily changed via the display means, operations related to the tax rate applied to products are easy. Therefore, it is also suitable for customers to operate it themselves.
(2) In the settlement device of (1) above, the display means is capable of displaying a list screen (e.g., the product list screen of FIG. 6(A)) that displays a list of registered products, and when the registered products include specific products to which multiple tax rates may be applied (e.g., products that may be eaten in), the list screen (e.g., the product list screen with checkboxes of FIG. 7(A)) that can accept the change instructions for each of the specific products is displayed, and the change means may change the tax rate of the specific products based on the change instructions on the list screen.
According to the settlement device of (2) above, the processing related to the tax rate applied to the product can be more suitably executed. In other words, the tax rate can be easily changed via the list screen, making the operation easier. In addition, the settlement device is easy to understand and convenient because it can be operated from the list screen, and since the tax rate is changed as necessary after the registration process is completed (i.e., all at once at the settlement process stage), it is less burdensome and more efficient than, for example, processing at the time of registering each product.
(3) In the settlement device of (2) above, when the specific product is included in the registered products, the display means may display a confirmation screen (e.g., small screen 1410) for confirming whether or not the tax rate needs to be changed, and when a response is given on the confirmation screen indicating that the tax rate needs to be changed (e.g., by operating the “Yes” button, etc.), the list screen (e.g., a product list screen with check boxes as in Figure 7 (A)) that can accept the change instruction for each of the specific products may be displayed.
According to the settlement device of (3) above, it is possible to more efficiently execute the process related to the tax rate applied to the product. In other words, since the tax rate is displayed so that it can be changed as necessary, the user is not unnecessarily confused about the operation.
(4) In the settlement device of (2) or (3) above, the change means may change the tax-inclusive price and the total amount of the specific products for which the change instruction has been accepted each time the change instruction is received for each of the specific products, and the display means may display the changed tax-inclusive price and the changed total amount of the specific products for which the change instruction has been accepted each time the change instruction is received for each of the specific products.
According to the settlement device of (4) above, it is possible to more appropriately execute the process related to the tax rate applied to the product. In other words, since the result after the change can be appropriately confirmed, the process can be efficiently carried out while checking the result.
(5) In any of the settlement devices described in (2) to (4) above, the display means may display the quantity of the specific product for which the tax rate has been changed (e.g., the number of products to be eaten in) each time the change instruction is received for each specific product.
According to the settlement device of (4) above, it is possible to more appropriately execute the process related to the tax rate applied to the product. In other words, since the result after the change can be appropriately confirmed, the process can be efficiently carried out while checking the result.
(6) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, one aspect of the present invention is a program that causes a computer to function as a settlement device that settles for registered products, and functions as a display means that displays the registered products in a manner that allows the computer to accept instructions to change the tax rate, and a change means that changes the tax rate of the products based on the change instruction.
According to the program (6) above, processing related to the tax rate applied to a product can be executed in an optimal manner.

All or part of the functions (input/output, storage, processing (including judgment)) of each device (management device 10, cloud server 20, registered settlement device 30, settlement device 40, mobile terminal 60, etc.) described above may be realized by devices other than the device described as the executing entity of the function. For example, the "change means for changing the tax rate of a product" in (1) above was described as processing by the settlement device 40 (although it was described that the executing entity of the change means is the settlement device 40), but the cloud server 20 may change the tax rate of the product instead of the settlement device 40. In other words, the settlement device 40 may send a change instruction to the cloud server 20, and the cloud server 20 may change the tax rate.
