The dosage form of the skin or hair care external preparation composition of the present invention is liquid, emulsion, cream, gel, mist, aerosol foam, solid, powder dispersion, etc., and the usual skin or hair care external preparation composition. It can take the form of being used as an object.

When manufacturing the skin or hair care external preparation composition of the present invention, the extract is added at the end of the process and heat is applied to prevent the active ingredients in the extract from deactivating and the preparation to be colored and odorized. It is preferable to reduce the history.

An external preparation composition for skin or hair care, characterized by containing an extract of chayote fruit. The skin or hair care external preparation composition according to claim 1, wherein the chayote fruit extract is 0.01 to 95.0% by mass.
