Abstract
Description
本開示は、患者におけるウイルス感染(重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2(SARS-CoV-2)感染が挙げられる)の予防または治療に関する。
ウイルス感染(コロナウイルスによる感染など)は、治療(またはその欠如)ならびに感染の拡大および患者が感染したことにより引き起こされる疾患の重症化の両方の観点から問題となりつつある。
1つの態様では、本開示は、患者におけるウイルス感染(少なくとも一部が)により引き起こされるか関連する疾患または状態を処置または予防する方法であって、亜鉛を含む医薬組成物を、ウイルス感染により引き起こされる疾患または状態を治療または予防するための治療有効用量または予防有効用量で前述の患者に投与する工程を含む、方法を提供する。いくつかの実施形態では、組成物は、さらなる実施形態では、培養培地(例えば、RPMI-1640など)または重水素枯渇水のいずれかに溶解された亜鉛および/またはその同位体のアミノ酸との複合物を含むか、前述の複合物である。いくつかの実施形態では、組成物は、64Zn濃縮亜鉛(用語「64Zne」は、本明細書中で、64Zn濃縮亜鉛を指すために使用される)を含む。いくつかの実施形態では、組成物は、天然のZnおよび/またはZn-64を含むか、これらを含む溶液である。

-細胞の有糸分裂の状況に対して影響がないこと;
-亜鉛の軽同位体およびZnグリシン-メチオニンのシトラートおよびグルタマートによるRNAおよびDNAの合成阻害
-天然のZnおよびその軽同位体のグリシン-メチオニン複合物は、感染価の阻害のその選択指数、寿命が参照薬物Virolexより顕著であることによって証明されるように、ヘルペス髄膜脳炎モデルに治癒効果をもたらした;
-クエン酸およびグルタミン酸を含む天然のZnおよびその軽同位体の複合物は、高い有効係数、感染価の阻害、および寿命が示すように、インフルエンザ肺炎モデルに対して顕著に治療効果があった。

本発明の実施形態において、例えば以下の項目が提供される。

前記ウイルス感染が、インフルエンザウイルス、単純ヘルペスウイルス2型を含む単純ヘルペスウイルス、C型肝炎ウイルスを含む肝炎ウイルス、エプスタイン・バーウイルス、SARS-CoV-2を含むコロナウイルス、エボラウイルス、またはHIVの感染である、先行する項目のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目5)
前記ウイルス感染が、重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2(SARS-CoV-2))の感染である、項目4に記載の方法。
(項目6)
希釈剤または賦形剤をさらに含む、先行する項目のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目7)
前記希釈剤が重水素枯渇水である、項目6に記載の方法。
(項目8)

Claims (12)
- ウイルス感染により引き起こされる疾患または状態を処置または予防する方法であって、治療有効量または予防有効量のZnを含む組成物をそれを必要とする被験体に投与する工程を含み、ここで、前記組成物が、64Zne化合物またはその塩を含み、ここで、前記64Zne化合物またはその塩が少なくとも80%の64Zneであるか、または前記組成物が、天然のZnまたはZn-64を含む溶液を含む、方法。
- 前記組成物が、培養培地または重水素枯渇水に溶解された亜鉛および/またはその同位体のアミノ酸との複合物である亜鉛を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が、シトラート溶液、グルタミン酸溶液、グリシン-メチオニン溶液、EDDA溶液、スルファート溶液、アスパラギン酸溶液、またはTBPDA溶液である天然のZnまたはZn-64を含む溶液を含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ウイルス感染が、インフルエンザウイルス、単純ヘルペスウイルス2型を含む単純ヘルペスウイルス、C型肝炎ウイルスを含む肝炎ウイルス、エプスタイン・バーウイルス、SARS-CoV-2を含むコロナウイルス、エボラウイルス、またはHIVの感染である、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ウイルス感染が、重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2(SARS-CoV-2))の感染である、請求項4に記載の方法。

- 前記希釈剤が重水素枯渇水である、請求項6に記載の方法。
