Claims (12)
- バッテリに使用される外装材において、
前記外装材のMD(Machine Direction)に形成された少なくとも1つのパターン部
を含み、
前記外装材のMDは、前記外装材を含むバッテリの幅方向であり、
前記外装材のTD(Transverse Direction)は、前記外装材を含むバッテリの長さ方向である、外装材。 - 前記外装材は、前記外装材のTDにフォールディングされて、前記バッテリの製造時に使用され、
前記バッテリの製造時に使用された外装材は、前記外装材のTDにベンディングされることによって、前記外装材のTDに前記バッテリがベンディングされるようにする、請求項1に記載の外装材。 - 前記外装材は、前記外装材のMDにフォールディングされて、前記バッテリの製造時に使用され、
前記バッテリの製造時に使用された外装材は、前記外装材のTDにベンディングされることによって、前記外装材のTDに前記バッテリがベンディングされるようにする、請求項1に記載の外装材。 - 前記パターン部を取り囲み、前記外装材の2つの面の間に密閉された空間を形成するように前記2つの面の一部が接合されるシール部をさらに含み、
前記パターン部のエッジ(edge)部分は、前記シール部と隣接したものである、請求項1に記載の外装材。 - 前記パターン部のエッジ(edge)部分に対する曲率半径は、前記パターン部の中心部分に対する曲率半径より小さいものである、請求項4に記載の外装材。
- 前記パターン部の中心部分から前記パターン部のエッジ部分に向かうほど曲率半径が小さくなるものである、請求項4に記載の外装材。
- 前記パターン部は、前記パターン部のエッジ部分に対する破損可能性を考慮して、前記外装材のMDに形成されたものである、請求項5に記載の外装材。
- 前記パターン部のエッジ部分の変形に対する疲労寿命は、前記外装材のMDに形成された前記パターン部に基づいて設定されるものである、請求項5に記載の外装材。
- 前記パターン部のエッジ部分の変形に対する疲労寿命は、前記外装材のTDに形成された少なくとも1つのパターン部を含む他の外装材のパターン部のエッジ部分の変形に対する疲労寿命より長い、請求項8に記載の外装材。
- 前記外装材は、少なくとも1つ以上の素材がラミネートされた多層構造に形成されたものである、請求項1に記載の外装材。
- 外装材にパターンを形成する方法において、
前記外装材を上部金型及び下部金型の間に位置させるステップと、
前記上部金型及び下部金型を利用して前記外装材を押印することによって前記外装材のMD(Machine Direction)に少なくとも1つのパターン部を形成するステップと
を含み、
前記外装材のMDは、前記外装材を含むバッテリの幅方向であり、
前記外装材のTD(Transverse Direction)は、前記外装材を含むバッテリの長さ方向である、方法。 - 外装材を含むバッテリを生成する方法において、
前記外装材のMD(Machine Direction)に前記外装材に少なくとも1つのパターン部を形成するステップと、
前記外装材をフォールディングするステップと、
前記フォールディングされた外装材に電極組立体を挿入するステップと、
前記電極組立体が挿入された前記外装材を封止するステップと
を含み、
前記外装材のMDは、前記外装材を含むバッテリの幅方向であり、
前記外装材のTD(Transverse Direction)は、前記外装材を含むバッテリの長さ方向である、方法。
